Have you looked into Lyme disease or its co-infections like babesiosis, Ehrlichiosis and bartonella? You have many of the symptoms. It's worth a shot to get bloodwork drawn. Feel better!!

How did you resolve this? I have been having the throat issues for about 4 months and it is so unsettling. I can only eat a bit of food and my throat/esphogus starts tightening up. Have lost 20 pounds with this. Now I am having anxiety issues because of this and other GI troubles.

For me, exercise (running), a rx powder made from bovine called Interagam, and a healthy diet from lots juicing with my Nutrabullet and 2yrs of time, also learning to calm down and ignore the anxiety flare ups.

Reading your post makes me feel that I am speaking to myself.

There are some minor differences in your scenario vs mine, but its almost word for word.  Would you be able to update us on how you are doing?

This is very common. I too have suffered with gerd most of my life. Caused by over active streso in the body. I ended up with esophageal cancer. They were able to remove it, early stage. H. Hernia, which can't be operated on, and terrible pains all over the body. Nasal drip, and stiff neck. I have sore joints and swelling all over the body. I felt like dieing. I know that this will be a life style, for the rest of my life. So I try different things all the time. One thing I know is stress will kill! So reduce your stress first. Nothing in life can be changed. You either change what you can and stress over the rest, or just let the rest go. I suggest the second. I also suggest you take your antacid all the time. I am not a pill taker, so I have gotten into trouble many times. And buy the small bottles of water to keep for taking your pills. Drink the whole 8 Oz bottle. It's easy when you have the small bottles for some reason. Watch your diet, and stay away from suger as much as possible. I'm learning suger eats away like acid. I also take pro biotics, with fiber each day. It keeps the system clean. We have a disease that we need to keep under control. It eats the body away. I lost all muscle, and now have skin hanging like empty sacks. Really gross to me. Lots of dr.s and lots of fear of heart, cancer and other dieases. But truth is, I am an empath, and I take on everyone's problems as my own. LET GO! Don't take on stress. If you tend to want to help others too much. You have to avoid people. Yeah it's hard. But get your stress way down. Take your antacids, don't skip them. Watch your diet, instead of suger eat fruit. Eat veg. As mentioned. Red meat in very moderation, because it doesn't digest. Fish be careful because they are finding bad things in it. Tuna, fresh. Sit up while eating. And don't talk during a meal. You take in air. Make sure your head is elevated on your bed, this is hard to get use to. But will be a good life change. Acid will stay in your stomac. I don't have all the answers. But I keep searching. I am about to go on vitamin D3. Larger than fda, say. It's a known fact we lack many things because we do not absorb them. How could we with our disease. Exercise, fresh air, and sun. If you aren't passing food within an hour after eating it, you are asking for trouble in your bowels. That's been a real eye opener. You are fermenting your food like wine. Causing gas, and acid to help this process. A clean colon is a must. Get your digestive system clean and keep it clean. Those are some things I have learned. Still learning. It's a life change for sure. But weight gain, muscle loss and this dang gerd, is killing me. I'm tired all the time and my body boats like a helium balloon. I'm miserable. So these are a few changes I have started. I'm on my way. And I will not let it beat me. Good luck.
