Hi everyone,

I had my last period 2 and 1/2 weeks ago and they have always been on time my whole life. I had sex 2 weeks ago and have been having the classic symtoms of pregnancy(sore aching breasts, very tired, very nauseous). My pregnancy tests are all negative. 2 days ago I noticed pinkish mucus when I wiped and now(2days on) there is smudgey brown blood in my panties. Is this still implantation bleeding(for 2+ days) or am I miscarrying?? I have already got 1 child so I definitely know the pregnancy feeling. This is very unlike my normal periods and I know something isn't quite right?? Any ideas. Can implantation bleeding be more than just spotting???

Hi, when bleeding beyond light spotting you maybe experiencing your menstrual cycle. Changing your birth control can also cause a change in your bleeding flow. So did you use any birth control? Your period was 2 and 1/2 weeks ago so this is irregular thing. Have you tested yourself for pregnancy? You maybe you might not be pregnant in the first place.

I have just discovered that I have miscarried a very early pregnancy. I haven't been on birth control as my husband and I are trying for another baby. Last night(Day 3 of spotting) I started slight cramping...like a normal period and today there is a lot of clots passing out and my breasts are no longer sore. Nausea has stopped too. Cramping got more intense and the doctor explanied that I have miscarried a very early pregnancy.

I hope this helps some of you.

After trying for 5 years, we finally found out we're expecting, and 3 months before my wedding!!! :-P o.O :-D Talk about murphy's law!
I had no clear signs or symptoms expcept a missed period, I was 4 days late and thought nothing of it, cos sometimes it is late, but I did a test and happy to announce it showed positive immediately! After ectopics and being told by a previous doctor I had only a 20% chance of ever having a baby at age 26, all I can say is keep the faith, God never fails and he'll give you what you want on his time.
Keeping that in mind, I need to find a dress as my gown I ordered wont remotely fit over my tummy in 3 months time, but I dont care, this is a dream come true and we've never been more ecstatic. Baby dust to everyone out there!

On the 5th of Sept i Had a light pink spotting for half the day the 6th i had a gooey discharge and the 7th and today it's been like a creamy discharge I have had headaches, back pain, tender breasts and feeling sick in the car I took a pregnancy test the day before this happened bc i felt like i was pregnant but it came out negative my friends say it was too early to tell do you think this could be implantation bleeding and if it is, is that something to worry about? I'm suppose to get my period on the 13th so how will I know if this is implatation bleeding or not?

Hi there. It sounds like the symptoms that you have could be pregnancy but you are still too early to tell. The best thing to do is be patient and take a pregnancy test in another week. What do you think?

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I'm sure that you're quite excited about it. Can you tell me if you did any sort of fertility drugs or anything or if you've gotten pregnant on your own? Let me know if you can, okay?

Beth, I am in the EXACT same boat as you. Im going in to my Gyn tomorrow to see what is going on. I really hope that I am pregnant but with how heavy the bleeding has been (Light spotting with fresh blood, a day or two of brown, then fresh blood like a light period for the last two days) I am concerned that I may not be anymore. I have not taken an at home test yet, and probably will tomorrow morning before my Dr's visit. I will keep you all posted as to what is going on.

IT IS POSSIBLE TO HAVE IMPLANTATION BLEEDING VERY SIMILAR TO A PERIOD.

I have a regular 28 day cycle.

Day 1: Saturday 29th march 2008
Day 5: Wednesday 2 April 2008.

My next period was due on the 26TH APRIL but it came on the 21st( 5 days early)

It was a fairly normal one...nothing out of the ordinary but just 2.5 days A week later i had some unexplained fatigue after having a 5 minute walk. My hubby suggested i take a preg test....and it was POSITIVE.

Now a proud mum of a lovely boy.

Hi, i am 20 years old and i was very concerned. Me and my boyfriend had sex on October 30, 2010 and after we were finished he had noticed that the condom had broke and i am not on birth control. About a week after i had been experiencing some pregnancy symptoms such as increased fatigue, eating a lot more, extra trips to the bathroom, headaches, and lower abdominal pains. I had also experienced hives (mostly on my legs) on November 2 and November 3 when i have never experienced hives before and have no allergies. I was suppose to have my period on November 12 and it was late. I had started my period today, November 14 at about 9:00 am. This morning i had light cramping, and a very heavy flow with little clotting. My periods are normally a lot lighter than this time, and i usually have really bad cramps with it. This heavy bleeding and clotting had lasted for 6 hours, and then it was light bleeding and no cramping. Could it be possible that i could be pregnant? I would greatly appreciate all the advice i can get. Thanks! %-)

Hi,

I'm 18 and experienced what is called implantation bleeding turns out it happened only a few days after ovualtion.

About implantation bleeding:- I had my last period on the 4th Oct (only last for 4days), we had unproctected sex on the 15th Oct and i ovulated on the 18th Oct.

Implatation Bleeding:-
On the 20th Nov it was really red blood, not heavy but enought i had to wear a pad, on the 21st it was lighter and just spotting pink blood, and on the 22nd there was just light brown blood but i was back to normal by lunch time.

During the time i started having the bleeding i was doing research into it to find out more, all the articles i read said it should only be light pink /brownish spotting and only last 2days. (turns out every women is different).

My next period was due on the 5th Nov but never arrived. I took a home preg test on the 2nd Nov (i knew my period wasnt meant to come until the 5th Nov) but i felt 'funny' my breast and nipples became really sensitive and sore i was also experiecing mood swings. The test came back negitive.

It was the 8th Nov and my period had still not arrived, i took another test and i came back positive (but very faint line).
I done the test again just to double check on the 12th Nov and it came back very positive with dark lines. The home preg test didnt pick it up untill i was 5 weeks pregnant.

So always trust your gut feeling and if a test come back negitive try again in other 3-4 days (may take more).

We are so excited about the news. I am now currently six weeks pregnant and will be consulting the doc at the end of the week.

Good Luck to all the ladies trying.
