It feels as if you were wearing a second panty over your actual panty.
There are a lot of people who have massive problems with this issue and this is the only solution that I found that is working every day 100% secure. I don't really care if it's the best solution out there. It's the only reliable solution that I could come up with and it works flawlessly so far. If you or anyone out there should find a better way, let me know!

Hi Cathy,
I'm glad that it is working for you. With what else did you have experience earlier before you found this?
It is good to have positive stories about things that can help people.

I have also suffered from this condition for years. I have used commercially produced pads, thin ones shred, thick ones--lined with plastic backing are hot. And they do not absorb that well. I have also had huge, painful zits develop under the elastic on my (cotton) underwear, and they turn deep purple, burn and throb as they build. All that bacteria building on the skin just reeks havoc. Several months ago, I made something for myself, using muslin fabric and terry cloth, all cut on the bias so it gives, when you move. My sister suffers from this also. So, I made these things I call a Wrapp, the extra P, stands for perspiration and they wrap around the crotch of your underwear, and hook with a hook and eye. on the outside of your underwear. It has been about 10 months now, and I have not had a huge, purple, painful, throbbing zit on my crotch. In fact, all the irritation has vanished, and my skin is now smooth and soft. When the Wrapps get soggy, I unhook it, throw it in the laundry and slap on a clean, dry, cool Wrapp. If you want to see them, go to Etsy.com and do a search under Hyperhidrosis. This dozen is a baker's dozen, I also made a carrying case that will be included as well as a bag-tube that is open at the top and you can tie to a towel bar--and the bottom has elastic, so clean Wrapps are pulled out of the bottom. Every one who has tried them, absolutely loves them, you will too!

Me too! But I am not sure if it is coming from the sweat glands or my vagina. I think its my vagina because if I use a tampon, it doesnt get bad. So irritating!

I have the same problem as all of you ladies, however I am 29 years old and pregnant. I never noticed this in my first pregnancy, but I also gained 60lbs then that i never lost! Now, I am sweaty, but I do have an odor. Just the smell of sweat. And everything I read related the vaginal odor with vaginal discharge, but I don't have the latter problem. It's so embarrassing!!! I've been attributing to the extra weight, but it's only became worse in the last 2-3 months. What a long, pregnant summer this is gonna be if I don't figure out something!!!!!

Hi Everybody with the sweat problem down below!

Same problem. What a relief to know that I'm not alone. I've had this problem for years and I ended up on this website because I have been researching for a permanent solution to this problem. I've got some good news though!!! You won't believe what controls the problem. I say control because if I don't use it, the problem reoccurs. As long as you use it, I can guarantee you'll feel dry down there and the odor will be gone. Before I say what I use, I have to stress that I don't know how safe it is, but I was so desperate to be rid of this distressing and embarassing condition that I was willing to try anything. The medical profession out there has led us down. I mentioned my problem to my GP but they don't know how to help you. So someone once told me that TEA can solve the problem of sweaty feet, so I thought 'sweat is sweat, I'll take a TEA BATH!!!.' So make a strong mug of tea (at least 2 tea bags) and pour into your bath. Funny, but try it, it really works. Let me know whether there are any of you who has tried it. No more sweaty and smelly vaginas! Good luck.
P.S. I am too embarrassed to tell my GP what I use. It works for me, but unfortunately I start sweating and smelling down there if I put my teabags away :-)

Sorry, I don't think I've been clear about safety. I said I don't know how safe it is. I meant the longterm use of tea down there. Have been using it for a few months with no problems

I'm so glad someone else is talking about this! I have been 30 for six months, and I just started having this problem a few weeks ago. I'm just sweating from where my undercarriage meets my legs, where the skin folds when you are seated. There is no odor, it's just very uncomfortable! Often the discomfort of this new sweatiness wakes me up in the middle of the night. I was just tempted to try anti-perspirant; I'm glad I came here first and found advice against doing that. I haven't read any proactive things except staying away from sugar, caffeine, and alcohol (I'm an NYC woman, that is near impossible!). I will go to my gyno and report back what she says. It's so strange that this is a new development in my life, but maybe it's one of those "when you hit 30" things. I do know that body hair traps in heat, so in my not at all professional opinion, maybe keeping the area shaved will cut down on sweating. I'd like to hear what anyone else's doctor says. Keep the posts coming!

Same Problem here. I am 40, a little overweight but in good health. When I go to the gym or do much activity outside it looks like I have wet my pants. It is so embarrassing. I thought it might be urine so I wear panty liners but that doesn't help. I have thought about antiperspirants but all I can find in stores for that area are just deodorants, not antiperspirant, and odor isn't the problem. Is it ok to use antiperspirants labeled for underarms between my legs?
The only other part of my body that sweats this much is my scalp but that doesn't embarrass me like the though of everyone around me thinking I have peed on myself.

Hi i'm 42 ,slightly weight and i only have this problem during the summer months and it seems to only happen when i'm NOT wearing panties (at home) I can be standing in my kitchen cooking with only a house dress on and all of a sudden sweat is pouring from between my legs. It's so frustrating because it feels as if i'm urinating on myself. I really think its my thighs that are causing this problem though... So now I rub baby or cornstarch powder on my inner thighs while i'm cooking or just walking around the house. so far it's working.

I am 28 and have had problems with excessive sweating ever since I hit puberty around the age of 15. I have never been overweight. At 5'7, I have always weighed between 128 and 132 pounds. I eat pretty healthy -- whole grains / fresh fruits and vegetables / meat occasionally. At the age of 15 I would scour the internet (in its early stages) for explanations and tips for my underarm sweat. I became convinced that I had hyperhidrosis, which I never had confirmed by a doctor as I was always too timid to really bring it up to family. Instead, I found my own solutions. I would spray scotch guard under the arms of my shirts (seriously!) and bought over-the-counter Certain Dri antiperspirant. In retrospect, it all makes me laugh a lot! Now, in my older age I have developed excessive sweating in my vaginal area.

All I can say is this: please girls, throw all these silly products away. Aluminum chloride is just not friendly to your brain, and scotch guard makes your clothes feel like plastic. I am finally old enough (and have lived a happy and healthy and guy-fill life alongside my sweating for long enough) to realize that I really don't need let this bother me to the point of purchasing ridiculously marketed products that are probably toxic to my body. Don't get me wrong, though, I have learned how to work with it in my own way.

The solution is to simply buy clothes/fabrics with an eye to this situation. I stick with lots of blacks if there are sleeves, and can do other colors with no sleeves or baggier sleeves. Certain fabrics are MUCH worse than others --> I would never ever buy a light grey or dark pink poplin button up shirt from Banana Republic, for instance. That is a recipe for HUGE wet circles. And with all the new eighties styles back in, you can find looser/baggy/falling off the shoulder shirts that don't stick under the armpits. Just put some thought into your purchases, and embrace them as your style.

For the lower half of the body, stick with skirts, black pants, and dark denim skirts / pants. Lightweight cotton khaki pants, for instance, are probably not a smart purchase! And nylon never looks as bad as cotton (though it also doesn't breathe as well). And as for your smell, just own it! Unless it is something like bacterial vaginosis (which I also was bordering on for a while -- but once a day acidophilus pill has completely solved this problem, and i would highly highly recommend taking this daily), you really shouldn't worry about it. If anything, it is a good smell. Just never wear your clothes (or panties) twice, and wear cottons, and buy a bit of perfume, and you really won't smell like anything that wouldn't attract any guy who is worth your loving. (by the way, that sweat smell is full of super sexy phermones!)

So that is my two cents. And my experience. And I hope it helps someone out there!

I seriously thought I was the only person out there with vaginal odor and sweating. It's really embarassing because I always am aware of it and I haven't been able to come up with a solution. I'm only 17!!! I don't want to deal with more problems than I can handle!!! My mum asked why I went through panty liners so much and I always thought it was discharge so I told her that I was just having a lot of discharge. And it's not just my vagina!!! My armpits sweat like mad too! It's so embarassing and I feel like everybody can smell my vaginal odor. I can't find anything to stop my underarm sweating. I've tried tea baths (because my feet sweat super mucho too so I figured it would stop my vaginal sweating) but those didnt work. I try using eve feminine odor block, but it wears out. I don't know what to do anymore. :-( What if I have hyperhidrosis? How am I supposed to tell my mum that something ELSE is wrong with me?? I just want a solution so I can finally feel comfortable going to school and going out in public without havign to worry about excess sweating. This has been going on since I was 14. I want it gone! Please help.

you know i have gained about ten pounds in the last 8 months and that's when i started noticing sweating down there. I always thought it was my thighs because they rub together now and all the frction causes sweating. I am thinking that losing weight might help. bECAUSE ALL THIS MOISTURE IS RATHER IRRITATING.

STOP WORRYING ABOUT IT. i have this problem as well, it does not matter your age weight height blah blah blah. its all in your HEAD. you worry about it so it happens. i know because when i worry about sweating i start sweating but when its the last thing on my mind im as dry as a bone. its been going on for a couple years.. you sweat from whatever, which makes you smell and that makes you anxious, which makes you sweat. and then you worry and sweat, worry and sweat and so on. So stop thinking youre going to sweat your pants off and you might not.
