Has anyone tried using Hypercare for vaginal sweating? My Doctor just gave me a prescription but after reading reviews I'm afraid to try it. Anyone that has used it please provide any feedback regarding the side effects and if it worked. Thanks!

Hey, I too have this sweating problem. I'm not sure if this helps but maybe these are some factors explaining why this may be happening to me:
-very over weight
-17 years old
-on depo shot
-been trying to get pregnant
-unprotected sex.
I know that I don't have any std's or anything like that.. but I don't understand. I also get this very overbearing like smell like a sweet sweaty smell.. (gross!) I wash thoroughly daily.. I keep myself shaved.. so I don't know what the problem could be! Can anyone help me or should I see my OBGYN or regular doctor?

hopefully this is really anonymous (I'm usually leery of posting online). I've been searching for answers to this for YEARS. In fact, some of the previous posts could have been written by me!! Tried talking to GYNs on various occasions thinking either there was urine leakage issues (using the AZO product is good way to determine this), some kind of infection or something. It was like I was from Mars. The answer was always nothing medically wrong and I must be imagining it. Actual wetness is not imagination!!! Eventually, I just gave up and suffered in silence and humiliation--for some 15 yrs now. I've developed such a phobia about it that I know my anxiety just makes the issue worse. It's like when I sweat it's all coming out in the groin. (Years ago I also had a problem with underarm sweating but that seems to have miraculously cleared up.) It's so embarrassing, I worry about odor (is there one? is it urine, sweat, or nasty? can others smell it but I just can't?), and I have developed a social phobia in that I keep from doing things with other people because of it. I'm miserable to say the least. I do believe a small part of it is mental because there have been a few and far between occasions when I've been in situations where I was so busy and I didn't have the problem. I also believe it's hormonally related, at least for me. I seem to have more of a problem with the sweating during menstruation and ovulation. I also believe it must be somewhat diet and weight related. I say this because last year I lost about 12 pounds (I was only slightly overweight--mostly hips and thighs) and the issue actually got BETTER. I had pretty much stopped eating refined sugar products (still ate fruit for sweets), however, I stayed with my morning coffee. It took several months before I realized that I wasn't having the panty wetness, which in turn bolstered my mental state related to it. Unfortunately, high stress at work got to me and I lapsed back into eating refined sugar products and have gained those pounds back, and the wetness is back as bad as ever. I've tried talking to one or two friends about it but it's so hard, and they apparently don't have the issue. While I'm not glad to hear that others have this issue, it is somewhat of a comfort to know that it's not just my weird body!!!

WOW...Ladies i feel so relieved to know that i'm not alone on this subject. I'm 28yo, healthy, active, good BMI etc...but i sweat like there is no tomorrow. Everytime i go to a restaurant or cafe which is outside, the moment i get up i have a huge sweat mark on my chair and it's evident to see that it's from my vagina region. I quickly push my chair under the table and hope no one saw. I think a few of you mentioned the car - i have the same problem, luckily now i have cooling seats, so if i feel that i'm sweating too much while driving, i turn that on and it dries me out before i arrive at my destination. Quite often i've spoken to my husband about the condition, and luckily he's very understanding and supportive. One day i needed him to understand how "hot" my vagina region gets so i got him to place his hands above that region (and above my thighs) and he couldn't believe the heat i was producing from my thighs/vagina - he said he could roast marshmellows! I note someone above said something about coffee and sugar contributing to this - i confess, these are my vices, so i will cut these out and see whether there is an improvement. I'm not keen on putting creams down there as i don't want to cause it to smell or breed bacteria etc...while it's just odourless sweating. But i would love to know any other possible causes or cures that people know of or have been perscribed. Ultimately i'm just so relieved to know that i'm not alone and that we're all as embarassed as each other to talk about it or seek medical help. Maybe i'm not alone amongst my girlfriends...

HI all, I only just thought about this has being a potential 'problem' recently so glad to find other women out there also having this body weirdness. There seems to be a range of ages and physicality and diets amongst us sufferers so surely it can't just be diet and weight alone. I will google hyperhidrosis. I'm 45 and healthy for my age, exercise a little, probably not enough. Diet is ok although I probably don't eat enough veges... I live in a hot humid summer place so mainly I notice the sweating in summer. I suppose I thought it was normal as it's kind of worsen slowly in the past 5 or so years. I know if I ask a doctor they would say it's my age and maybe I am heading towards menopause so I won't even bother. Having said that I do have a family planning clinic nearby full of patient women doctors so maybe I will go there. I suppose I have noticed an increase is hair growth around my inner thighs, the 'hair creep' I tell my beauticians! Whoever said 'it's in your mind' I don't think applies to me as I never really have thought about it much except recently. I do feel it's gotten worse and smellier - and like others thought it was urine leakage perhaps. Now I am not sure but guess it makes sense to get this test. As it now smells more, I too wonder if it's an odor that wafts about. I have had sweat marks left on the seat too and quickly shove in seats. I also shower and then feel the sweaty smell still lingers and this is what has started to concern me. One theory I have is that for us older women, the years of maybe eating an acidic and/or yeasty and/or sugary diet finally builds up and starts to cause such things. I could lose a few kilos and am sure that would help as it would help in my overall healthiness i.e. I won't be eating as much fats & carbs hence... But for younger women, unless you truly eat a crappy diet (and some people are really in denial about how good they think their diet is), perhaps hormones or hormone imbalances are to blame. Especially for you teenagers, I think a lot of chemical changes occur in these developing years so that wouldn't surprise me. Of course food also effects our hormonal balance so, eating well is probably the first step. As for hair reduction in the area, I always thought that the whole point of hair was to allow sweat to disperse away from the skin, but going bald down there might be worth a painful try! I will try the tea idea though, can't hurt I reckon. In the meantime I will google and look at natural remedies and see if I can locate anything not already mentioned here. I am sure the Chinese would have some remedy even though they generally aren;t big sweaters! Good luck gals.

I am 30 and I have the same issue. I am overweight but I had this problem when I was skinnier as well. It is extremely embarrassing and surprising that I am not alone. I do not bring this topic up with others as it's uncomfortable. I have red through 4 pages of comments and I'm shocked that so many have this problem but there are no solutions! I have tried feminine body wash changing my panties often showering more frequently and FDS, nothing seems to work for long. Luckily I work from home but going out to a family picnic or just out for a long walk on a hot summer day makes me so self-conscious. My inner thigh area gets wet and sweaty it's so gross! I clean regularly and wash cloths often I just cannot find something that actually works well. The thought of wearing napran or whatever seems crazy to me i think we are all looking for realistic and reasonable solutions. It's amazing how there seen to be no real answers online! Thanks everyone for bringing this up as it is a very embarrassing topic! It's good to know I'm not alone!

I have the same problem with the sweating, and to prevent an embarrassing situation I just use Always Ultra Thins pads (sanitary napkins) everyday, all the time - well, always (well played, clever marketing dept). The trick is to get the ones WITH WINGS. They wrap around the edge of your panties along the inner thigh where the problem is usually worst. They are soft, as thin as a pantiliner and also have the' long with wings' size for those who need more coverage, and a '14+' for larger ladies. With normal activity I can use just one each day and still feel fresh, during summer or 'iffy' situations like the gym I change it more frequently. The expense is probably less than a prescription, about $7 for 30, and totally worth the peace of mind knowing my pants or shorts are DRY. (I do not work for this company, am just endorsing a quality product.)

I have the same problem but with a odor. Noticed it 3 yrs ago I am 20 now. My underwear is always wet and it stinks. I am always afraid the person next to me can smell it. I bathe sometimes more than once a day. I tried using wipes to clean the area didnt work. I do eat a lot of sweets, I am 135 lbs and 5'3. I wear cotton underwear. Sometimes even without underwear just not as bad it sweats. I dont sleep with underwear at night because of this reason. If i leave my house and take a 30 min drive by the time I get out its wet. Happens during the winter also. Its like a sweaty smell with no deodorant. I thought this had started because I had a horrible yeast infection 3 yrs ago. I dont know what to do. I tried putting cornstarch powder on my underwear that does not work although it controls the smell a little. HELP PLEASE!!

i know this is an old topic, but i am 36 yrs old and totally have this issue, no odor but so much sweat. Two years ago, and 50 pounds heavier, i did NOT have this problem. I still am in the process of losing more weight, prob another 30 pounds to go, and the doctor claims its a weight issue. I have had tons of bloodwork done, did gain weight over the years due to thyroid problems and lackk of me wanting to control it with meds. Now again, i was 50 pounds heavier and DID NOT have this problem. Now i have been running and exercising over the past year and even in the freezing temps, i sweat like crazy in the vaginal area. I was tested for Diabetes, and all other kinds of organ function and my thyroid has been regulated perfectly and i check it every 6 months. My dr is puzzled, she told me to use the "clinical strength" deoderant/antipersprant that you can get over the counter and some perscription powder to apply to the vaginal area.  I havent tried the powders yet and using the deoderant for the vag, is just a little wierd, but i will do just about anything to get this to stop. Its terribly gross and during the night i leave  huge sweat spot in my bed. I never wear underwear or pants when i enter my bedroom and i have a fan blowing directly on it all night long. Nothing has helped yet, anybody have any other ideas??????

Its terrible that so many women of all different ages and weight ranges whether their over weight or not deal with this. Alot of sites say its weight gain or loss and that the change in your body is the reasoning- thats a crock.  I have a problem with this whether its a regular day or im working out i avoid grey or anything that would show an obvious sweat mark in public that sucks!  although I have no answers or suggestions as to stopping the wetness i do use Summer Eve femminine deodorant especially when i work out and that for me controlls the odor i'll even shower before i go to the gym just to be safe- i do notice that if i don't just regularly put on the deodorant spray like i would regular deodorant i "smell" but i always keep Playtex feminine wipes on me to try to keep fresh and again spare underwear, theres no need to fresshen up if you still wear stinky underwear :). its a terrible thing to have to go to the dr.s about but at the same time living uncomfortably shouldn't be something to consider. Someone did mention she got a product called Drysol from her dr. which i might consider asking about she claimed it was great and its not something you use everyday its something you apply at night for a week or so and then you can go back to using your own deodorant its not meant for vaginal sweating its for excessive sweating in general but well worth a try i think but you have to get it from your dr.

I have suffered from this problem for over 4 decades, my weight does not seem to affect the amount of sweat I produce, and winter does not slow it down either.  I have had untold numbers of yeast infections, in fact the entire decade of the 80's was one yeast infection after the next.  White cotton underwear did not help, changing them hourly might have.  But I doubt it.  The skin eruptions, rashes, itching as a result have driven me to the edge.  And the odors eminating from my crotch, if it could be bottled and used in warfare; there would be no more war.  I finally made a device out of 100% cotton (muslin) it is a detachable crotch, and can be washed and dried hundreds of times.  I now make (each and every one) and sell them online.  They literally wrap around the crotch of ones briefs, mens or womens, take seconds to change out, and toss into the laundry.  What you may be suffering from is called Inguinal or Hexsel's Hyperhidrosis, but I am not a doctor and I would recommend you research this term, online.  Hyperhidrosis has been largely ignored by doctors as it will not kill you, and besides everyone sweats.  Albeit, everyone sweats, it is highly unlikely everyone sweats like you do.  Every Body is different.  Last year Hyperhidrosis was finally recognized as an official skin disorder, and more is very slowly being done to help deal with the misery of non-stop sweat.  At any rate, I would recommend stop using talc in the crotch area.  Talc is chemically very similar to asbestos, moreover hospitals now advise new parents to not use talc on their new baby, as well as baby oil.  Talc has also been found in ovarian cancer tissue, though this has been passed of as anectdotal by the medical community, it may help explain the rise in tescicular cancer.  What is imperative is to keep the skin dry, the Wrapps do that.  Wrapps, the extra P stands for perspiration, remove the moisture and you start out again: Dry.  No chemicals, no wipes, no odors, just dry.  Coolwrapps take just seconds to change out.  Also, I would strongly recommend no more fabric softener, ever.  Fabric softeners coat the fibers of your clothes thus reducing absorbency, and fabric softeners are loaded with carcinogens.  Moreover liquid fabric softeners will shorten the useful life of your washing machine.  If you have a need to use anything, use vinegar as a final rinse for your clean clothes.  I know what you are dealing with; how hard it is to approach your doctor, only to be passed of like an annoying child.  Come see for yourself.  There is something that can help, many have found relief with

I am 35 and pregnant and overweight. I thought this vaginal sweating was just a pregnancy problem but it's nice to know I am not alone. I usuallyhave to change my panties twice a day maybe 3 if I am out walking a lot. A couple of months ago, I got a Brazilian wax and found that I felt less hot and sweated less. Now that the hair has come in some I find just keeping it really trimmed and using talc keeps me pretty dry.

Sorry to say the only thing I found was panty liners I am 52 years old and have had this problem as long as I can remember, I used to hate to sit down then stand up later to see a streak of moisture on the seat, and now that i live in Florida it is worse so everyday faithfully I shower put on powder and a panty liner and I am so glad to see that other women have to same problem.
