I went to see my doctor about the Same symptoms as you have and what the doctor told me was an over active gland that produces far to much sweating on the left side of my scoraum. The over active gland can be removed a small operation and this will stop the inching. Have a word with your doctor.

I had the exact thing. Had it confirmed by a Dr as Egsima. He prescribed Elocon 0.1% cream. In 24hrs it was 75% gone. In 1 week it was completely gone. Highly recommend you try the creams.

I have had this same problem for years probably 3-4 but it's gradually is happening more often and I'm 15 and I absolutely hate it... But it's odd the it never happens like during the day while at school it always happens while at home... One thing I found that oddly stopped the itching was shaving your balls and hydrocortisone I do not recommend because for me it didn't do much it just became very annoying since it didn't lower the itchiness much and it may it harder to actually scratch the itch due to the fact that it makes it slippery

Guys I've had this same issue!

Creme or lotion made with marijuana!

Cured the itch which helped me leave the area alone to heal.

And it controlled the symptoms

Gods gift

Diet is the answer for most of these complaints. Allergies to certain types of food, chemicals. Do not eat sugar or any sugary foods to combat fungal infections! Do a raw foods diet to clean out the over-acidic body.

To anyone who's dealing with similar issues, I believe I may have some insight. I've dealt with this condition for upwards of 10 years. When I say I've tried everything, I promise you it's the truth. I've recently alleviated the majority of my symptoms, and it's been an eye-opening and educational experience. As hard as it is to hear, there are no quick fixes. None.

1. Diet. Eliminating processed foods is paramount. Even more so, eliminating SUGAR from your diet will yield positive results. I consider myself a highly active and healthy person (I was a D-1 athlete), and so I didn't think cutting sugar would help my condition. However, after consciously limiting my sugar consumption to below 30-35 grams a day, I began to see immediate improvements. Ideally, the only sugar you consume should come from real fruit.

2. Medications. I tried countless cremes, ointments, powders, gels, body washes, even prescription medications from several trips to a dermatologist. The ONLY thing that has worked is EMU OIL... I swear by it.

3. Routine. When you wake up, and before you go to bed, wash the affected area with WATER ONLY, and pat it dry with a towel (no rubbing). At this point, the dry skin is likely very easy to rub off. Do NOT scratch, and keep friction to a minimum when rubbing off the flaking skin. Then, I apply 1-2 drops of Emu oil to the area before going to bed. In the morning, repeat the same routine.

4. Miscellaneous. Always wear boxers, when possible. Wash clothing with detergent made without harsh chemicals. Exercise rigorously. Do not shave your genitals, but trimming doesn't hurt.

I sincerely hope this helps. It's an incredibly uncomfortable condition, and an even more uncomfortable subject to seek advice about. God bless!

I hope this reply finds someone and helps them. I am not an affiliate with this company but this is honestly what solved my problem.

I suffered from an intensely itchy scrotum for ten years... suuuper embarassing problem. just suddenly one day when I was around 15, my scrotum started itching intensely, and it didn't ever stop. sometimes it would be so itchy it would make my leg twitch and almost incapacitate me at work. very inconvenient. It drove me crazy and was something I just silently dealt with for ten years. And when I say it was itchy, it was soooo itchy. I would spend hours scratching, would have to sleep with my legs spread because anything touching my scrotum just set it off. it was a nightmare. and the scratching created a horrible itch-scratch cycle... I even swallowed my pride and went to the doctors TWICE. Each time they didn't know what it was and told me to get some antihistamines.

In those ten years, I tried everything. Tea tree oil, olive oil, coconut oil, exfoliation, not showering, using different soaps, different material underwears. gold bond, anti-fungal creams, different scrubs, hydrocortisone, aftershave (worked well for a bit), antihistamines (worked extremely well for a week, then same problem), lotion. making sure I was completely dry after a shower. loose-fitting clothes. different laundry soaps, corn starch, baby powder. changing my diet. literally everything. it was hopeless. Most store-bought products just made it worse honestly and made my skin really irritated and itchy.

There is literally one product and one product only that has worked for me. Moments after putting it on - SWEET RELIEF. And it seems to remedy the dry, scaly, irritated skin at the same time. It is extremely hard to find and for the longest time I didn't know the name of it until they changed their package to include english.

It's called "JIAN PAI" skin cream. It is a traditional chinese medicine product that is advertised for genital pruritis. I know, you're probably thinking "oh just another skin cream". nope. oddly enough, it is made from "ku shen", a root used in TCM. It is about $50, but it works. it works so well that I am writing this out so that it helps somebody else.

It is the best product in the world for an itchy scrotum, and it will SOLVE your embarassing problem. please I urge you to try it if you have this problem.

I have had this problem for two years. Putting Tea tree oil on the area seems to help a lot. You should try it. I think it can't hurt. Can easily be found on amazon. Tea tree oil. Look it up!
Cheers.

I, too, had this problem with intense and persistent itching on scrotum and groin area, oftentimes scratching to the point that it bled. Needless to say, it is an extremely miserable condition! Saw several dermatologists over the course of about four years. UGH! Anti fungal creams (both over-the-counter and prescription), hydrocortisone creams (both otc and rx), cortisone shots, powders, dietary changes, . . . all failed to provide any lasting relief:(. Then I changed to all-cotton undershorts. WOW! What a relief! Turns out that the problem was caused by an allergy to an elastic polymer chemical that is present in many brands of men's underwear. Stop wearing undershorts with the elastic polymer chemical irritant and, in just a few days, all the itching and irritation begins to go away! It's a somewhat rare allergy that most doctors seldom consider when making a diagnosis. But, if all else fails to provide relief, switch to all-cotton undershorts without any type of elastic. In my experience, doing so resulted in blessed relief. :)
