Truly a positive post.makes me feel iam not alone.removed the guilty feeling in me
i also have same habit,,,i am consuming pencil nib since from past ten years..not necessary everyday...if iam busy.. then i forget to eat that...but whenever it comes to my mind.. i have eaten alot..sometimes whole box(25 pencils) of pencils...i dun have ny problem till now...dun know about future...but it feels good when i got to know that there are other people also hu have same habit..and they are also living a healthy life...although its a bad habit...but i cant help it...i am addicted to pencil nib...i also like wet mud smell...in my childhood i have eaten alot mud...but now i used to satisfy my crave by eating pencil nib only...even i like nailpaint smell, petrol smell, dunno why....!!!
I HEARD SOME WHERE AMONG CHILDRENS CHANDTARA SLATE PENCILS ARE VERY TASTY SO LIKE THAT THESE ARE PLENTY AVAILABLE IN ANDHRA PRADESH WHOLE I THINK.

even i hv a craving for slate pencil, raw rice (uncooked rice ) & fullers's earth ..I know its not good for health and i tried stopping it but of no use. And moreover whenevr i am tensed or frusteted i consume more than usual..How do i stop this habit

I am addicting eating slatepencil from few month . I m preparing for competition test for job , than I start solve questions by using slatepencil.. I generally eat 1 or slatepencil daily ......

There's a brand called "Jyoti", made of natural stone. The pack contains 40 slate pencils. I personally take that. Else go for "Chandrama", even that's good. Umm I also want to know if it's ok to consume about half a pack of slate pencils (natural stone ones) per day? Please help.
yes it is correct i will eat slatepencils daily two packets is there any problem
Long term consumption may increase the risk of worm infection. also cause psychological disturbance, which might exaggerate the habit. Start having Iron tablets and calcium supplements.
