Yesterday I made a stupid mistake. While I was in kitchen cooking spaghetti, the phone rang and while trying to reach for the receiver, I inadvertently burnt the inside of my forearm and after running the cool water over it I realized that two swellings formed on my forearm. Is it wise to pop the swelling of a burn?
If blisters form at the site of the burn, DO NOT pop them! They are there for a reason (to help heal the skin) and popping them before they’re ready doesn’t help, and may even hinder, healing. A popped blister is very painful, and you certainly don’t want to add more pain to an already painful situation. Usually, the body will absorb the fluid inside a blister, and the blister will go away on its own.

I have a blister on my foot that I never popped. Now there is hard skin over it. What can I buy to soften the skin and then maybe pop that blister?
