Thank goodness... I thought I was mad or growing some kind of tumour or something. My itch is at the lower part of my shoulder blade, between blade and spine. It can drive me crazy. I'll try the stretching, get massages and reduce stress and see if that helps. Thanks all for your confirmation that this is a 'thing'.

This is so bazar, I have the same thing. My LEFT shoulder blade, in one spot itches like crazy. Started a few months ago, no rash or discoloration. I'm worried it could be something serious so I'm going to see a dermatologist soon. I was a heavy tanner in my teens and 20s, so skin cancer is my biggest worry.

Oh Its sooo Annoying, I'm about to rip my skin off as its so itchy
I've tried just about everything to ease the itch pain and the only thing I've found that soothes it is Listerine Just straight applied and It stings but after a few minutes the itch subsides

Shingles? I've had regular shingles and they were painful, not itchy.
I can't believe there are so many people who have an itch the same place I do (near left shoulder blade)!
