I too have been suffering from this thing go well over a month now. I recently moved in with a friend and the room we were in was all carpet. She Had Dogs At 1 Point And I Too Have 2 dogs. Now she would put mine outside in the tall grass. I noticed my babies scrstching. And then I to started to notice something biting me. So i went crazy With flea sprays for carpet's and furniture and dogs bathed and sprayed for fleas and ticks. Even got out there and mowed yard. A few days later a red fruit drink got spilled and I got cleaners for carpet. I ended up cleaning and shampooing the entire carpet. This of course made the bug biting way worse for me as I believe I and tired up whatever flea stuff (eggs, pupae, whatever) was in carpet. I vacuumed every 2 days sprinkled sndtirredalt on the carpet, got a water bottle with sprayer and filled with dawn liquid soap and water. I sprayed everything. I mean everything. Then I started to notice in my clothes Lil white eggs and on my white socks Lil black dots. My bf thought in was loosing my mind cause in was really getting skeeved out the bites on my skin. I even showed him where a scab would form snd once it was scratched off there would be a crater left. Once the scab formed again I would see a bump under it. I would break it open again and pull that elongated thing out. It would kinda roll between fingers. I thought it to might be flea pupae or larvae. I still have scabs and scars from this nightmare. I researched flea life cycle and it looks like eat itttt have been suffering from is and severe allergic reaction. I found that dawn liquid kills the exoskeleton of the fleas. Now I bathe my dogs in it 1 so far and I myself have used it in the dower fromantic head to my toes and it has worked for me. Now it have since moved to another room with no carpet and haven't been bothered by no seums or fleas or sny type of bug in 2 weeks. I just wish these marks left will heal soon cause I'm embarrassed to have people look at me and my legs and the outside of the bend of my arm...it's ugly. I hope this info helps someone...

Me too. Exact same thing but I call them splinters. Question-are you taking Monteleucast? Mine started appearing a year ago. Arm, going up neck. They have a pattern, keep reoccurring and seem to be related to anything with sunflower oil. But I didn’t start getting them until I started taking monteleukast

(Cont) I thought they were pimples at first. They range from a dot sized pimple to a dime size sometimes will be red swole inflamed .When you squeeze them it does look like a white core of some kind they itch horribly as well. When they scab over u scratch scab off and hunk of skin comes out of this hole in middle and it hurts and bleeds like you been stabbed.I have pulled out something that looks white kinda clear with black spot on end like some type of larva and it does roll between fingers .Nothing works if one goes away new one starts beside it leaves these dark circles on my skin like cigarette burns. Its controlling my life it’s embarrassing I can’t take this no more .I can’t find nothing in pictures that look like these please I need help

I started a few weeks ago with a rash of tiny pimples on my mid section that spreads, blisters, weeps, itches intensely, bleeds and is driving me crazy. When i find something that helps, it works slightly for a while and then comes back. I have treated it with baking soda, vinegar, calamine, several anti fungal creams, sprays, and even a chlorine bleach solution. I found some relief with Vicks vaporub but it is temporary and i still find myself scratching and rubbing until i bleed. I haven't noticed anything that can be squeezed out of the pimples like others have mentioned. I am going to try a dermatologist when i can afford the co pays. My regular doctor just says, hmmmn. I am losing hope but keep scratching for answers. I hope someone finds a cure and posts it.

I am having the same issue and it’s like I can’t get any relief until i get that larva looking thing out, but my dr said to leave my skin alone since the bigger scabs/ sores are healing. I am wondering if they are threadworm larvae

Hi, I can relate. What did your dr give you for tx? Mine told me staph. Gave me an ointment. Just softens it but still come back. The worse part are the dark scars on my upper back just below my neck. not pretty no real help.

I got my problem from a reputable massage business. These need to be regulated by the health dept. more often. Managers are not teaching them properly or you get some slob who doesn't change the bedding between customers! Disgusting and Dangerous to the Community! I've seen 2 derms and still being told I have staph and folliculitis. all I get r creams that don't work. The worse part are the brown scars it leaves!

Do you have scars? I do from the outbreaks! they r the worse part of all of this. I scrub with a brush, used every otc lice tx and the Drs tell me I don't have scabies or lice? I keep using the mupirocin but getting tired of no real help.

Have the same pits, though mine start out like small blackheads or individual goosebumps on my arms. They don't itch at nor are they painful at that size. If I am being very careful not to pick at the tiny bump(s) they'll eventually catch on something (even a shirt). When it comes off, it feels and looks like a grain of sand and leaves behind a pinhead-sized pit that normally doesn't bleed. Then, around that tiny hole, the skin hardens and gets popped off leaving a hole about twice the size as the first. This keeps going on and on until they are about the size of a nickel. They haven't gotten bigger than that (yet, anyway).
I went to a dermatologist, had biopsies and skin cell tests but all they came up with was they are because I apply moisturizing lotion too soon after I shower...WTheck? really? For years and years I use to apply lotions before drying off and never had the issue before. I stopped using lotions in the shower as my skin was looking great (not to mention I really stopped caring as much as I did when I was no longer single). I also remember having the tiny pinhead hard things my whole life, but only recently did they stop healing. I remember it distinctly because we endearingly called it my "gatorhide."
This used to go away by using a "Korean-style" washcloth which basically scratches off the top 100 layers of skin...just kidding but it sure feels like it. It does, however, remove these, blackheads, and any and all dead skin cells. The problem is, since they're stopped healing, if I use that cloth, it seems to leave a ton of unseen lacerations that burn like no tomorrow while in the shower and for an hour after - and nothing...no creams nor ointments can stop that burn - it's like pouring gasoline on a fire. nothing like a 50-year-old man curled up in the fetal position crying for an hour or so because the pain was so intense.
Okay, back to these blotches that those tiny grains of sand become. The bigger they become, the more painful. Although my last statement wouldn't indicate it, I have a seriously high pain and itch tolerance. Bug bites have never caused me to itch (well, except for those chopper-sized vampire bats Alaska calls mosquitoes - but those even bothered my only rarely). and my pain threshold is so that I used to (before I discovered pedicures) dig out ingrown toenails with the dull file on the clippers. Over 20 years as a foot-soldier trampling through various terrain and undergrowth builds some tolerances known only by those who've done so.
The nickel and dime-sized hard portions of skin become intensely painful if they get too dry (lack of hydration - whether from water intake or Vitamin E deficiency). over the past 6 months they have began to spread. Initially they were only on my forearms, then my upper arms started, then shoulders, up my neck, over my head and are now appearing on my face.
