Wow, it's such a relief to know I'm not the only one with similar issues. I've been trying to conceive for over two years and have had issues with my period and ovulating. Last year, I had a nine month period. It was horrible. Doctors did sonograms and blood work and found nothing wrong. I was eventually put on Provera. It started to work after about three months. I was on 10mg for 21 days and 7 days off. I stopped it after three months hoping I would be regular on my own but no luck. This year brought 30 day long periods so I requested to be put on it again. I'm on day 15 of the 21 days on and I've had a heavy, painful period for the past few days. I'm trying to get more fertility tests done but unfortunately they revolve around the first day of my period, something I cannot track. This has got to be one of the most frustrating issues I've ever had to deal with, it's hard because I feel like I have no one to talk to and the doctors don't seem to think it's anything serious. It also gets in the way of mine and my husband's personal time, it is so frustrating a find myself crying over it a lot. They've told me I probably don't ovulate so I'm hoping chlomid is in my near future. I also have horrible mood shifts on Provera, anyone else? Good luck to all! This road is not easy.
