Today's is my birthday (46 yrs old) I'm on day 7 after my transfer. I did ivf when I was 38 yrs old and for the past year and half been trying again. This last time I used an egg donor. I had 4 grade 1 embroys on day 3. My doctor wanted to do blastocyst to day 5. Only 2 survived and they both were transferred on 10/26/12. I go Monday to my doctors for a pregnancy test. I totally understand what everyone on this post is going through. I've had a few cramps over the past week and my breast feel a little heavy and sore. I'm scared to get my hopes high because getting negative results is sooooo disappointing. But for me this is it, if this doesn't work then I have to accept that having a baby was just not meant to be for me :-( I can't keep putting myself and my body through this. I've spent so much money and the process is so emotional that I just can't do it anymore. I pray every day for positive results as this is something that I've wanted all my life. It's in God's hand at this point. All I can do is cross my fingers, pray and deal with whatever is to be.
Good luck to all of you that are going through this process. It is not easy but if you get positive results it will all be worth it.
I had two 5 day embryos transferred on tues so I gather today would be day 4. I've had cramping on and off since and tender breasts since the beginning of this whole process. I took a pregnancy test as well tonight because I just couldn't wait, and it was negative. Is there a chance I could still be pregnant? Did anyone else experience a negative test but turn out pregnant? I have my blood test on thurs 1/31. Praying, praying praying.
you definitely could be pregnant... hang in there... 4 days after transfer is way too soon to test. If you can, try not to do a HPT... I made that mistake in my first IVF cycle and it really messes with your mind. I am 6 days after a transfer of 2 - 5 day blasts.. just like you! fingers and toes crossed for both of us!!!

I thought I was the only one with this question.
Today is Day 4 after ET (3 Embryos, 1 with A grade, 2 as B grade and transferred on Day 2)
I have breast soreness (just like beginning of my periods) and slight cramps. No other symptom. Yes, I have watery discharge early morning when I wake up and even sometimes during day time.
Is this normal? The 2ww is really a killer!

Pray for us and I too pray for all the couples who are waiting for their positive results. GOD bless.
Hi there, I also had IVF with ICSI. My ER was last Monday and my ET was on Thursday. Like You I am anxiously awaiting. I am scheduled for pregnancy test on Monday and blood work. It could not come soon enough. I am holding myself back from going and taking a home pregnancy test. I was told by my RE that technically I am pregnant. Just waiting for the confirmation. I have been feeling weird since I started this IVF cycle. Now using endometrin suppositories. THe past 2 days I notices very very light pink/reddish specks. Not really even spotting but just a speck of color on the tissue. I was reading that this could be cervical irritation from the suppositories. I just want to be absolutely confirmed pregnant. I had 2 embryos transferred. Seems like we are in the same boat and same timing. best of luck to you.
In addition to cramps, back aches, cravings and aversions, IVF patients may experience cold-like symptoms. This is also cold pregnancy rhinitis (www.themedvacation.com/blog-symptoms-after-ivf-cold). In fact, pregnancy rhinitis is as common as morning sickness is. Pregnancy rhinitis typically occurs in the first trimester and can last for up to six weeks. IVF cold is believed to be caused by changing hormone levels during pregnancy. Similar symptoms have been documented in women taking birth control pills and those undergoing hormone replacement therapy. Nevertheless, doctors have not yet determined the exact causes of pregnancy rhinitis.
No, HPT are NOT accruate until after your blood BETA test. The worst thing you could do is take one and get a false positive. I am on day 5 after transplant and dying to know as well.. but we must wait it out :-(
Hi, I just have my embryos transfer a week ago and I'm having the same symptoms you had. Where you pregnant? did you have the couple baby(s)? The waiting is killing me :) thanks!
I understand on the 19 march I am going to ave my pregnancy test after the first trial of ivf gd luck
Good luck. I'll be praying for you. I'm in the same situation.
