Ugh I have had the same problem. Started out as a tiny little white dot on my lowerright side of my lip. I popped it and then it turned into this huge, cyst like pimple thats been there almost a month now, and it's too deep to pop. It used to hurt, but it doesn't any more, however the bump is still there. Bought this $15 neutrogina spot healing cream, and it went down, but the bumb just wont go away!!
I have this pimple-like bump in the middle of the area between my upper link and nose its like in the center. I used to have a pimple there long ago but when I popped it long away it made a teeny tiny hole and now when there was a little bump there I poked it and it became a bigger bump and it hurts when I move my lip or poke at it. I have tried putting acene cream on it and washing my face and its been there for nearly a week now. I don't have herpes and I have not gotten into connect with anyone that does. I've never seen a skin doctor and don't have the money to go see one anyway. I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem? And if so, can you please help me or tell me what u did? Oh and I haven't gotten herpes by kissing anyone since I haven't kissed anyone.
You can get oral herpes from kissing, sharing utensils, sharing lip balm or drinking from the same glass as someone who has it.
sometimes a person with herpes (relative, friend) could kiss you on the cheek or somethin like that and you can contract the cold sores...which is a form of herpes. so it is possible to not be sexually active and get it.
Use liposan and something to keep it clean (I used pyravlex because it is safe to get in your mouth).In 3-4 my pimple was gone.Try not to scratch it for a few days.
you dont have to have sex to get herpes.. many people have it from birth. through parents.. or if someone with a open cold sore ever kissed you..... you would be surprised by how many people actually have it and even more so dont know they have it..
See if you can get a Doctor to prescribe you Acyclovir Ointment 5% which is for a viral infection. I had the same problem with the lip crack not healing and was always opening up, even during trying to eat. This ointment healed it right up. Good luck.

Lol are you kidding? Children get cold sores (herpes). It's skin to skin contact so even genital herpes doesn't mean you actually had to have sex.
You technically could have herpes and have never had sex. Its either type 1 or 2. 1 in 4 people have it. Most common is cold sores. (Which regardless how you got it, is still herpes.)
I'm not sure why, but most people haven't heard of this... You guys should use a drawing salve for the deep pimples. It has sulfur which helps draw out everything. Put it on the effected area, put a bandaid on it, and sleep with it over night. It shouldn't hurt as bad and a lot of the deep painful sweeping is reduced by morning. Do this for a couple days. I've used Smile's Prid drawing salve. Works wonders and is pretty cheap!
You realize how wrong this is right? You could have lip herpes virus before your even born. No sex needed.
I have the Sams problem! I've had a pimple on my upper lip for about a month now! I wash my face every day and night but it does nothing. So I though, maybe it's the cleanser I'm using. So I stopped washing my face with the cleanser and just used water for about two weeks and still no difference. I've also tried so many differant creams and stuff on it. It just won't go away. I haven't even picked at it or anything, but I have covered it up with makeup many times. I just hope it goes away soon because it's embarrassing. If it's not gone within at least two months I'm going to the doctors to figure out how or get it to go away...
Same problem except ive had mine for 3 years now... Ive been to the doctors multiple times but they just keep saying it will go away and im pretty sure im stuck with it for the rest of my life Ive tried salt water, ive even grabbed a needle and impaled it it just doesnt go away
Can you post a link of what this looks like in the roof of your mouth? Curious, I'm the type to oral on a female and age 28 I was diagnosed with herpes. I have a crater(hole) that seems to have scare tissue that has never healed. It always looks like their is a black head or white head. I have benefits from work, I got the pills.. I wonder if I should take them? To help my lip? I have barely any break outs downstairs.. So many questions not enough time :(
