I just came from a consultation with my fiance about lipo and his belly button already is as you described. Our doc who has done a wonderful job for me in another surgery said it was a defect in the belly button from the inside (outties are the defect, innies are not) and that his has a hernia. He said many times his patients with belly fat don't notice the "outtie" or a corresponding hernia until after fat removal. He said either way it should be fixed to make sure it doesn't get worse and cause other problems. So, our doc will be fixing that while my fiance is under because he has to be very careful with that area anyway and make sure there are no other hernias in the area that the fat may be hiding. Hope this helps!
Has anyone had some shooting pains in the side abdomen when making certain moves ?
Like getting up from a chair..?
for the most part I think it was worth it, But I will wait until the swelling goes down.
I am on day 5.
I had lipo on my inner/outer thighs and inner knees 8 days ago. I've been horizontal in bed or on the sofa a lot more than I expected I would be. I took the Vicodin (5/500) for the first 4 days, then switched to Extra Strength Tylenol. The pain isn't excruciating, but it seems most of the swelling and bruising settled on the back parts of my legs from all the time spent on my back. I used bags of frozen peas for the first two days, which hopefully helped with swelling. I've been taking an Arnica Bromelain supplement since 3 days pre-surgery. I also began applying topical Arnical gel three days ago. I'm still walking like I rode 100 miles on a horse and the bruising on my inner thighs and knees feels tight and a little hard. I assume it's a combo of the swelling and that my skin is still a bit numb. It's a weird sensation which is making me walk in a really odd way because I don't want to my legs to touch one another. I think I need to relax more. The only really painful part now is swelling just above the back of my left knee. Currently, I'm applying a heating pad on low 3x/day to help get the circulation back on track and promote healing. I didn't start that until day 7 though, to be certain it wouldn't increase swelling in some way. Anyway, my boyfriend says my legs are obviously more slim, but all I see is swelling and bruising, so I try not to look. Oh, and one thing my doctor and his assistants didn't mention...taking off the compression garment. PLEASE be in bed or on the sofa when you do this. And do it SLOWLY (as in, don't stand up for 10-15 minutes once it's off). The blood rushing back into the compressed areas from the rest of your body causes a sharp, but brief drop in blood pressure and will very likely pass out if you stand up too quickly after removal of the garment.
No liposuction is not that critical, i got liposuction done. i was worried of weight gain so had it done from Hills MedI spa, sydney. i didnt had any sort of problem with them. you can consult them if you are little bit tensed.
One should proceed with caution. Liposuction has been known to lead to increased weight gain in other areas of the body (scary!) if you don't make changes to your lifestyle.
As a trainer specializing in body contouring for women, most women have a lot of body fat to lose in order to meet their goal or ideal body. There's nothing wrong with losing body fat (athletes, body builders and fitness models get very lean all the time without developing an eating disorder or overexcising. In fact, many of these people eat a ton of calories!) Just know that you don't have to go to the extreme route or you can cause more harm than good.
If you are trying to lose lower body fat, I'm the first to admit it will be a bit more difficult as women tend to store stubborn fat in the hips/buttocks/thighs. You already know about eating healthy and exercising, but there are some hacks you can do to speed up the process and avoid getting the exact opposite results than you want (overdeveloped muscles for example).
But here are some quick tips:
You will need to change your diet primarily and adopt an exercise plan. It is of the utmost importance to cut sugar out of your diet, done by becoming aware and start reading nutritional labels and limiting the amount of times you eat out as there are so many ingredients that could be included in a dish it is hard to tell how many calories you are consuming. Sugar substitutes are just as bad and has been shown to lead to weight gain despite the zero calorie claim.
You should also limit snacking and have a full, low calorie meal instead. Snacking usually leaves you unsatisfied and then you go eat another snack or a full meal, whereas if you had a full meal you could've cut out the excess snacking calories. It's also worth mentioning, it's very hard to find low calorie snacks. If you can't prepare a full meal, try having leftover chicken or any protein with fat to satisfy your hunger.
Ideally though, you will want to find a way to curb your snacking appetite with what I like to call, "hunger training" which is explained in detail in the book. Phantom hunger is one of the biggest reasons women can't lose weight.
Eating a lot of carbs, wheat (and it's worth repeating - SUGAR) actually causes you to feel hungry shortly after and crave the same types of food - carbs, wheat, sugar - which is typically high in calorie and makes you feel lethargic (when the more energy you have the better).
The solution is to eat more NATURAL, WHOLE foods. I like the saying of "if it comes in a box, you probably shouldn't eat it". Another way of putting it is to cut out processed food which is typically filled with salt, carbs and sugar!
Go for low calorie but filling foods that contain fiber, protein and fat (the good kind!). Some examples are adding ground flax seeds to your meals or shakes, lean chicken or white fish (salmon is great but is very high in calories so watch your portion if you choose this fish)
Which reminds me, one important last tip (there are so many more but I already wrote the book, is to buy yourself a food scale and track your food using one of the free programs online!
Eyeballing your proportions doesn't work. Research has proven that people who track what they eat, tend to make smarter food choices and consume less calories. It makes sense to me!
Then of course, there is exercise - you have to expend more energy than you consume if you want to lose fat (there's no other way around this).
You can calculate the amount of energy you expend and base metabolic rate with many of the free bmr and tdee calculators on the internet. (I go into excruciating detail on how to determine how many calories you need to eat to lose fat in an upcoming youtube video - search our channel, thighgaphack, on youtube). Exercise contributes to the calorie deficit you are creating.
You burn calories and fat with exercise by getting your heart rate up and keeping it up for at least an hour. Limit the breaks in between and make sure you are sweating, because if you aren't sweating frankly you aren't doing exercise effective enough to reap the results you want.
Use light weights and try to combine as many body parts as possible. So for example, instead of just doing a chess press while standing, do a chess press and kick your leg at the same time. You burn more energy that way. Jumping rope and hoola hooping are also GREAT cardio exercises, but fast walking where you also vigorously move your arms (e.g. swinging them back and forth or incorporating 'speed bags') work as well. Jillian Michaels' workout videos, Insanity, kickboxing and p90x are also worth looking into.

After treatment you may have to face some scary after effects like bleeding, infection, scraping. Such type of issues can be recovered by the time if you follow cosmetic surgeon's instructions before and after medication. But after some time if still you do, to recover from the problems then its an alarming situation. Prolong infections can be reshaped in any disease. You must take sudden and proper precautions for this.

I had it done twice. The first time I saw NO results and the second time was a disaster. I had a major staph infection and horrible inflammation on both arms. It was AWFUL! I would post a picture but it is super disgusting. I honestly do not think the surgeon had a CLUE of what he was doing and blamed the infection because I 'slept on them wrong'. However, after going back and looking back at the hospital it was a dirty facility. I should have never went there. Just save your money and take up pilates instead.
have you had a lot of pain and how it look now?
