Just wondering if we have to only drink water on the 7 days?

Do you remember the 7 day diet here that you are talking about here, its the one I am interested in, I don't remember the full 7 days.

Hello, Yes there is a Medical Center named Loma Linda and the diet is a 7 day cleanse that really really works. They used to have thier paitients do the diet before surgery.

This is the same miracle soup diet that I have I've had since 1998, it was given to my grandmother after heart attack. I need to try it or get to moving.

the one I have it's from 1998 in the only thing different from mine is that it had 2 large onion 2 green peppers 1 large headed cabbage 1 large bunch of celery 4 large carrots 1 large can of tomatoes 2 zucchini squash 2 yellow squash 1 can green beans opt. if you want and whatever seasoning herb you would like that is the only thing different from mine and hers.

It is a real diet created by Drs at Loma Linda Hospital which was a teaching hospital in Lima Linda, CA or at least it was in 1980 when I received the diet. It's a 3 day diet & the next 4 days you eat normally within moderation & still use it today & have lost at least 10 lbs a wk. 1st day: BREAKFAST; 1/2 grapefruit, toast, 2 Tbl peanut butter which I put
on my toast. LUNCH, 1/2 C tuna fish (that's about a small can) & toast DINNER, 2 slices of meat-3 oz, any kind, 1 C string beans, 1 C of beets which is about 1/2 can each, 1 small apple & 1 C of vanilla ice cream-yes I said Ice cream sounds good so far ugh? 2nd day; BREAkFAST 1 egg any way you want, 1 toast & 1/2 banana LUNCH, 1 C cottage cheese & 5 saltine crackers DINNER, 2 hot dogs, 1 C broccoli, 1/2 C carrots-that's a lot of veggies, 1/2 banana & 1/2 C vanilla ice cream. 3rd day; BREAkFAST, 5 saltine crackers & 1 slice of cheddar cheese & 1 small apple LUNCH, 1 hard boiled egg & 1 toast DINNER; 1 C of tuna, 1 C of beets, 1 C cauliflower, 1/2 banana, cantaloupe as much as you want, & 1/2 C of vanilla ice cream. The next 4 days eat as normal within moderation. Note you can use salt & pepper for taste & drink lots of water, tea or coffee without the sugar or cream of course which is how I drink my tea today. The diet works on chemical breakdown of the foods & your body.

This is the real diet. In the beginning this diet was prescribed to heart patients who were over weight and needed to have heart surgery. The Dr. would have there patient loose some weight and then proceed with surgery. I lost 45 pounds in 4 months on this diet, After the 3rd day I felt empowered with energy from all of the vitamins,

It is Amazing and it works..The basic part of the diet is the cabbage soup..but it, in my opinion is healthy and you can keep using it over and over..

I did this diet and in 1990s(?) I lost 45 lbs in a month. I weighed on 1st day. Then just kept trying on big pants I had that were tight every other day.. and watched weight MELT OFF!

I did it long ago. In 1980 - '81.. it's hard. And don't cheat even a little! It's worth doing

This Loma Linda cabbage soup diet really does work IF you follow it to the tee! I know personally. I lost 45Lbs
