I have been having pain in lower left side stomach and back with pain also on right side. with it having trouble having bm. have to pee all the time. hard to eat more then a cup full of food with out feeling like i want to throw up. i have been bloating they have done ultrasound. found nothing. blood work tested for sti's. urine test so far all good. going in for cat scan tue.
My chiropractor said when i told him about it that it sounds like pelvic inflammatory disease. it is an infection of a woman,s pelvic organs. a bacteria moves up from the vagina and infects her pelvic organs. many different types of bacteria can cause pid. it can be causes by sti or without. the bacteria is found in the vagina normally i had about three months ago problems with the bacteria infection in my vagina out of control was put on antibotics. if you have pelvic inflammatoy disease you need to be on two different type of antibotics.
The pain has gotten so bad i had to ask for something for pain today. the more im up walking the worst it gets. and my doctor wants me to walk to help with weigh loss. since i seen the dr. i have gained about 8 lbs. maybe this might help someone out there.

hi yet another person with same issue.

my started 6months ago , the one day i started getting period like cramps and it went through all way to my period then pain stopped soon as my period came. The following month it started 2 and half weeks before my period , infact straight after ovulation.
iM trying for a baby and have been for 15months now , so as you can imagine i was very worried cuz this pain/cramps/back ache happend everymonth after i ovulated right through to my period.I went docs she seemed to think it was endo so i had to see a gyno who did a smear type check and she said i was constipated but rest was fine , i had good womb. Then i had bloods , to see if i ovulated i did .Then after months of waiting i got in with a gyno for a vaginal ultra sound , again nothing wrong , no endo, no cysts nothing.

Now this cycle has changed even worse , i came on my period and now its day9 period stopped day 5 and im still pain with cramps so this time it hasnt gonna way its here all month round.
Anyway my other half marched me to A&E 3days ago and it was a waste of time they did a wee sample and no infection or pregency she told me go back to gp and pressure them for a CT san .

ive docs tomorrow so suppose i'll have to wait another month to get a CT scan GRRRRRRRRRRR!!

Seroiusly ladies im at end of my paitence with this , it hurts right now it never stops its not bad pain where you screaming but enough to put you off anyday and its awful .Everyone here has no anserws we're all confused .I will write back after any more news /scans
i think anyone should write back let us know what was up .

i have been having lower abdominal and lower back pain for the past 6 mos. The pain is sometimes around my cycle and sometimes after i have gone to the bathroom. I also have pressure in conjunction with the pain. I have had an colonoscopy which was normal and also an ultrasound which was normal. I have fibroids since 2006. My doctor says that they are a little smaller now. No one seems to have answers regarding where the pain is coming from and what could possibly be causing it.

I am 36 years old. Had a hysterectomy about 3 years ago and within the last few months have been experiencing lower back pain. My last annual gyno visit revealed a tiny ovarian cyst on the left ovary, but it resolved itself. Within the last few weeks I've had a feeling of discomfort in my lower left abdomen I thought immediately that I had a large cyst so today I went to the doctor. They performed a urine test and internal ultrasound and pelvic and rectal exams. Everything was normal and they found NO cysts on either ovary. My OB/GYN wants me to have a CT Scan to chase this down, but I'm not so sure about all that. She asked me if I had discomfort urinating, during sexual intercourse or if my stool had changed. I've had none of those symptoms. The only reason I even went to the doctor was because of my dear friend's experience with ovarian cysts and I didn't want to wind up wrything in pain in the ER one night! At this point, my discomfort is just that - something a little noticeable, but nothing exceptionally painful. I think for now I'm going to hold off on the CT Scan and wait for my annual in July. I've also considered Celiac's disease because I have some of the symptoms of that, but I have not been diagnosed with it. Thank you all for your posts. It means alot to know I am not alone.

I'm having many of these symptoms but unfortunetley i haven't had any tests done. I've been considering going to the ER but im afraid it's not serious enough. I just wanted to add that I had gaullbladder issues 8 months ago and was treated with medication that made me better until now, so if you're having pain/tenderness under your right rib cage you really should consider this. Also something that hasn't been mentioned is the possibility of an ectopic pregnancy? I was curious if this could be a problem if there are no cysts or kidney stones.

I had similar symptoms and it turned out to be adhesions from multiple abdominal surgeries.  Just a thought....

Hi, I've been having lower abdominal pain and lower back pain for almost a week now. It feels like my cycle is about to come on but it hasn't. It was due earlier this week, I'm usually regular. Sometimes I have the urge to throw up but nothing happens. Someone please help me understand this.

My story begins back in 08.  I started having right side lower back pains. On and off again through out my life, which im only 27 yrs old I have had sciadic issues. So i attributed my pain to that. X-ray showed nothing. the pain though seemed to be more concentrated on the right side rather than closer to my spine.  About a year ago i started having abdominal & pelvic pain. Only on the right side. I have had my kidneys tested, ct scans on my kidneys, abdominal ultrasound, pelvic ultrasound, and all were normal. Blood work perfect. I am miserable all day everyday. I have had previous surgeries and the conclusion was adhesions. Well 4 weeks ago i had laproscopic surgery. pretty much a failure! I did get a diagnosis but th surgeon and myself were expecting adhesions to be the reason. One tiny adhesion, small cyst on right ovary and mild case of endometriosis. I have a spot on each tube and my right tube looks red & aggravated. Devastated after my surgery failed they are blaming all my syptoms on the endo. Im not convinced. Now i am having pain again on the right but near my upper ribs. I tried a chiropractor 2 weeks ago and having mild success with the sciadic issues. I am going to have an mri done on my spine and hip soon. Also going in for another ultrasound to see if my tubes are blocked. I very much want children but sometimes have a really hard time managing the pain. I very rarely take prescription pain meds. I refuse to get hooked bc no one can give me a real diagnosis. I have been reading how nerve pain from the back can cause abdominal/ pelvic pain. Im trying to be hopeful but its hard. Its one thing to have to live with the pain but another to not know why. I want an answer!!! help please & good luck to all of you. I hate you all have pain but im glad im not alone.

I get the same pains but only every few months, and a HUGE difference is I am a man, so just to get it out there, I don't think it is just a woman thing. I have nothing come up in hospital, I seem to be normal, but the pains still arise every few months.

I have been suffering with severe abdominal pain for months and the doctors doesn't know what is wrong they know that my uterus has been looking irratated and and everything but do not know what is causeing it so they are scheduling me to have a partial hystorectomy this summer after my semester is over. I have had past ovarian cyst and endrometriosis but they said that is not the case this time around. Im in alot of pain adn my hubby and I cant be intimate cause it is very painful. But now I have a new thing that I noticed, I now have a dark brown urine when I pee and my lower back has been hurting pretty bad, it has been going on for 4 days now. The doctor did a urine test the day before it started but they didnt say anything so i assumed there is no infection. I find this all very odd and is making me very nervous. Can someone please tell me what may be going on. I have been drinking lots of fluids too and I have never had my urine look so dark before, it is the same color as a coca cola. Can soemone please shed some light on this. Thank you.
