from the past two week i have very small two or three lumps on my uvula and i feel uvula is touching my tongue area. And now a day i feel heaviness in my jaw,head and area near my eyes .i am smoking from the the last six years and past two month prior to this problem i reduce to one or two a day. please suggest me what to do.
I was looking for an answer for a similar problem...but recently more bothered by dizziness. but reading over the posts...i recognized problems i have had for years. I am now 53 and was recently diagnosed with thyroid disease. About 5 years ago I nearly lost my voice. I went to allergists, had shots, ears, nose and throat guy...tests done, he diagnosed gerd..went to gastro guy...many tests done (upper endscope with capsule-ruled out gerd), neck realigned...you name it. source never found. slowly voice came back...but sort of scratchy. I was exhausted, felt like something stuck in my throat...etc. Many of these symptoms can be explained by thyroid disease...(it turns out i have antibodys-which indicate Hasimotos disease-very commom) Hashimotos is an autoimmune disease so it is often linked to other autoimmune diseases. What I mean by that, is it is more likely for you to have other autoimmune diseases if you have one. (cause unknown). Thyroid disease is very underdiagnosed. The new levels established 6 years ago (tsh-3) are still not recognized by many drs. Read about the disease, and the symptoms and discuss with your doctor. Your thyroid may still appear normal because it it doing the roller coaster, and you are catching it on an upswing. Hope this helps.
I'm 14 and I have the same problem, it's like a lump in my throat, chest pain, headaches, feeling of almost fainting, and stressing. I was scared it was something serious but hearing that other people are healthy and have it to makes me not think about it as much.
Yes I have been having strange sensations in my throat and chest, almost like muscle spasms, not painful, just strange, sometimes when it is bad, it can make me feel dizzy and faint, and then I start to panic, and feel worse as if im having a heart attack, its horrible, if anyone knows what it is and what I can do about it please let me know? ?
I have had this problem now for some 6 months. As I am a teacher I thought it was just nodules on my vocal chords causing this lump sensation in my throat. I have had thyroid cancer 10 years ago and had my thyroid removed completely. this was followed by radiation therapy and now I feel like this may be related. Shortness of breath with chest pain, lumpy feeling in throat, yes I am stressed and will see the doctor tomorrow for a battery of tests. fingers crossed.
I've been having throat problems since January. Be4 my throat problems started i was in hospital 4 severe abdominal pain. Because i was too sick to eat i was always vomiting. My symptons are constantly changing. I used to be able to deal with the discomfort in my throat but recently the discomfort has gotten worse. I've been to 4 doctors. The 1st three said it was nothing to worry about because my blood test was normal. The last doctor that i went to said my symptons could be caused by acidic reflux. I'm always worried that it could be something more serious and i don't enjoy eating anymore because my throat feels worse after i eat. I've now been in discomfort 4 six months. My symptoms were a lump in throat feeling and difficulty swallowing. I still have difficulty swallowing but now i get a tight feeling in my throat and i can feel something on both the left and right side of my throat. I'm really worried :(

I am 34 years old and always been healty. However this same thing is hapenning to me in past few months.
It all started with tention headaches only ( I am really stresed out in past few weeks because of my job and also this sickness).The headache would move arround my head and was mostly on the back of my head. Then I had a bad COLD for a week or 10 days. After a month of nonestop headaches one day at work my thraot started feeling wierd and my voice changed. I thought I had a bit of cold still or something.
The sore thraot lasted for two weeks but the headaches got little better,then my chest started hurting. Pain killers like Advil didnt help.
So I was panicing and saw 5 different doctors in a matter of a month. :-(
My now "family doctor" suggested its acid refulx and put me on a med called Dexilant.
It has been two weeks of regular usage (One a day) of this drug and I do feel BETTER. I have minimal headaches once in a while and my thraot feels better but still feels there is something stock in it, time to time.Chest pain is little better too.
The Xray of my lungs is normal except a little left lung issue which Dr says could be because of the cold that I had moth ago.
I am a smoker for 15 years now. I havn't smoked for two weeks also.
I will update as soon as I figure anything else out.

I've been struggling with the same thing for about a month. The past 2 months have been stressful, and I do sufft from acid reflux but no meds for it. When I went to the doctor before it got bad, they said it was a sinus infection and prescribed antibiotics. It helped me feel better a lil, but now its back. It's not every day but most. I also have chest pain like heartburn.

Hey their, I just read your symptoms and I wanted to share with you what I'm going through. The thrush is a big red flag for Candidyasis. Not sure of the spelling. Candida is yeast and it can proliferate in the GI tract as well as the more well know female type. It has many symptoms that cross over to other illnesses, and many MD's are not big believers in it. I am doing a Candida cleans now with probiotics and a special diet that should not have sugar or anything that breaks down into sugar, very hard, not bread, pasta, ice cream. I do not follow it to a tee, but i try. I have green beans and protein for breakfast for example, yuk!! But i don't want to feed the little yeast varmits anymore. Thrush is a form of yeast. I've also got the lump in my throat and chest which I also believe may be a mold allergy I've succumbed to in the last few years. My chest feels like an anvil sitting their. I had mold growing on and in my soffit and attic right above my master bed. Mold, yeast, mushrooms on my pizza!!! NO BEER! c**p it's a hard diet, Turns out the paleo diet, or Atkins is very much what is called for to stop "feeding" the Candida. Just some ideas for you to google.
Hey guys! As many of you have said....It's nice to see I'm not losing my mind here. I've attempted to explain these symptoms multiple times to multiple people and I get nothing but blank stares. Question for you all... Mine seems to be brought on by singing. I can't so much as hum a song without an adverse reaction. At first I thought it was a blown vocal chord but the similarities I'm seeing in these posts and the accompanying crush of anxiety scares the hell out of me. Many of you have also mentioned mucus... My attacks tend to come paired with dramatic releases of sinus pressure too. I can literally feel my head opening up and then moments later, my throat gets that all to familiar lump and the anxiety rushes in. Feels as if I've been punched in the gut.
Anyone? Sound familiar?
yes i have the exact same thing but mine has become out of control and did start off at the night time now its all through out the day its getting out of controll big time and am scared i dont like it
My daugter had same at the same age and it was anxiety. It is triggered by an event. My daughters last was caused by Brisbane floods. trust me if there is nothing on the scans this is what it would be.
I have the same problem. I feel like I have something stuck in my throat. Kind of like I swallowed something with rough edges. This has been going on for a few days now...but the feeling goes down too. I don't know how ti explain where it stops...it feels as if it is from my throat at the base or my neck to where my shoulder blades end. This morning, it hurt so bad to eat breakfast that I didn't even want to eat, and ever once in a while during the past few days, randomly it'll turn to a sharp pain that makes me flinch and I want to cry. Same with drinking water or any fluids. I've gotten a headache and was dizzy from it too. Does anyone know what this is?
I have this feeling too. It hurts to swallow anything. Its on the right side and I can feel, anything going down my throat, with sharp pains from my throat down to my shoulder blades. This has been going on for a few days now. I woke up with it. Quite a few times this past few days, randomly, the pain will be extremely painful and it's the feeling after you've gotten the breath knocked out of you, where it feels I cant breathe. Can anyone tell me what this is? I just want it to go away. Thank you.
Hi All, I have had this lump in my throat now for going on 5 to 6 days. I have the headaches and dizziness with tiredness. I have a lot of burping and a cough for going on 11 weeks. It can really drive a person crazy especially when it causes headaches. My mother said she got this when she was pregnant and this was years and years ago. My mother said that her doctor told her she was deficient in B vitamins. ALL B-vitamins. So he prescribed her a large dose of B vitamins and guess what... Her throat lump went away. I was told to take medicine for my Gerd or acid reflux and instead I chose to do herbal ways of getting rid of the Gerd or acid reflux, the symptoms of my acid reflux are subsiding but I have a lot of work to regain my health back. I use to weigh 35lbs lighter and I never ate at night, I also exercised frequently. Over the last 4 to 5 years I stopped all my healthy ways and my health practices are horrible. I am hoping to get back to my healthy life and with that a change in my throat problem and all other problems I have had including panic attacks, high blood pressure and others. I must say though that I have been around a dog when normally I have never before, so I think I maybe having several reactions. Not sure, it is a process of elimination, but we all have to try to ignore the lump stay positive and try to eat only what is healthy, exercise, get some sleep and think of ourselves for awhile. Also I have been drinking aloe juice it helps. Apples and bananas are great for this issue, but B- vitamins are what I am going to try next. B-vitamins are the nutrient that reduces stress! So does lots of exercise... Sometimes we just have to say I am more important this time and so many times I do not. You are more important and if you are not around you can't help anyway.. I am going to send a huge prayer out over all who have the throat lump issue and Gerd and I am going to ask God to please cure the little girl I read about earlier and the Mom's and Dad's who have written here, and all who are sick with this. Today is a hard day to live in and it produces so much stress. So Dear Father God Please hear all of our prayers and give us the way to find your answer to this problem.
