on my part no. the closest is my wisdom teeth removed 9 years ago. but that is no9t to say the rest have/haven't
I just came from a throat specialist at the ENT center. I was told by the doctor my tonsils were severely infected. I have had the same symptoms as you and had the same test as you did. I was surprised by the doctor's assessment since I had my tonsils removed as a child. He said they had removed my lingual tonsils but these were my sublingual tonsils, which are located further down in the throat. He recommended I make up a rinse: 1/4 tsp salt and 2 Tbs. peroxide in 8 oz of water. He asked me to start with Cepacol and gargle morning and then at night. The next day I was to gargle morning and night with the homemade rinse. I was to do this alternating rinses each day for three weeks. If after three weeks it didn't completely clear up I am to do it for 3 more weeks. If after this I am still having problems I am to go see a more specialized throat specialist.
God i have gone through the same thing as you have; however i went as far as removing my tonsils. The messed up thing is it did not make my symptoms go away. It still feels like the left side of the back of my mouth (back by the adenoids) is swollen. Sometimes its okay and then it can bother me a lot at other times. I think it depends what i consume. It consumes my mind and distracts me from my studies most of all. i don't know what it is.......
I have the same. left side bothers me and gets worse throughout the day. I think coffee does make it worse for me, or maybe liquids that are hot.
These stupid doctors are just testing you like a rat. If it was acid reflex wouldn't it bother the base of your throat? Not constantly only bothering one side?
I have been having this same problem for about 8 months now. Left side of the back of my mouth by the adenoids and tonsils (got those removed, didn't work) is bothering me. Its not really the throat area but the upper part. sometimes its worse then other times. I was just wondering if someone can start a pole or something so we can figure what we have in common. I have a history of back pain (due to heavy lifting) neck muscle problems. I have had man muscle aches in my neck before. It feels like someone is pushing a small circular object into the inside of upper back mouth. Its numb and when i drink something i only feel it less then the other side. How annoying, i cant live my life like this. i feel like stabbing myself with this pencil right here. sigh no i dont.
Hello folks, tonsil stones are something to consider.
