OK, I'm really excited about these and have been eyeing a few of the sets for a while now! Would anyone else like to discuss the products, colors, etc? Especially if you have already bagged a few?

The red lip gloss set is really pretty and something that not everyone can pull off but I think I'd use it throughout the year on certain occasions. The copper face compact also really appeals to me. I mean, all these products though except for the palest pink glosses, which I don't like so much, because they look awful on me, but I have to pick and choose, I can't have them all!

What are you buying?

And did I mention I don't even like the Nutcracker but the packaging on all of these sets is absolutely cute and amazing? And this is a great way to get several lipsticks or lip glosses for a better price in smaller format, which is great for your handbag anyway? I am pretty chuffed with these. 

I saw there was a brush set as well, which since my brushes are pretty battered by now, is also appealing to me. I need some retail guidance here before I go absolutely crazy buying all sorts of stuff! Tell me I am not the only one!

Oh, they are gorgeous! I especially like the pink Mineralize set. I love MAC mineralize in general, but these colors look like they were made for me! MAC is so worth it, and these holiday sets, you get a nice bag as well as color coordinated products. Nope, I'm not considering buying this for anyone else, yo, I want something nice for me too. I'll try to get down to a MAC store one of these days and hope they still have these in stock.

I must admit, I've been in MAC once or twice because I do really like that makeup, its coverage, and seeing the fact that I have red skin the foundation and concealer they have really do work for me. But people, unfortunately I can't afford that myself. What's more, I read that they do test on animals and I am really not in favor of that. As an almost lifelong vegetarian, I prefer more animal friendly options. I am not denying that MAC has excellent products, but even if it wasn't for the animals, they are hardly affordable and I am skipping this.

I love the packaging, but other than the sweet plum eye bag, which I did get, I didn't see much that I liked so much I was sure I'd actually be wearing it other than perhaps, and even that is questionable, for the holidays. These are just not colors that tickle me particularly much, especially the reds. This really has too much of either a theatrical look or a pink girl look, and I don't go for those. The eyeshadow kits had too many neutrals of the kind I already have a cupboard full of. So for me, this wasn't too exciting unfortunately.

Does anyone know if these MAC nutcracker 2016 sets will be going on sale? I took a look and there were quite a few that I liked the look of, but living in Europe, MAC is really quite expensive. (I compared prices in the US and they were much more reasonable - not fair!) Or otherwise, where's the cheapest place I can order these Nutcracker sets from MAC (I mean really from MAC, not bootlegged, which I've heard is out there, so I'll definitely be avoiding eBay etc) on the internet?
