I've been smoking marijuana since I was about 15. I'm now 31 and have had a lot of breathing problems, tightness in my chest, and pain in my lungs. It's been hard to stop smoking so for the past month I baked it into cookies. About 2 weeks ago I started having a hard time keeping food down, vomit and/or have to go to the toilet. I had to force myself to vomit a few times as my stomach would start hurting otherwise. I thought the same thing, maybe I just caught a bug from work. Then for the past week I started having stomach aches. It got so bad I had to go to the doctor. He said I may have had a virus which has now lead to gastritis. I have pills he gave me and said it should clear after this week. He is running a few blood and poo tests in the meantime. After stumbling upon this site, I am shocked to read similar stories and can assume it is eating pot that got me here. I hope this heals, and in the meantime, I will try my best to stay away from smoking and eating marijuana.

Its your liver, urinary tract and colon processing tar(weed smoke), its not as uncommon as you think . Try smoking into just your lungs not your stomach.

Every body expericances different things smokin weed or cigarrets and tobacco leaves... where i live its a common thing mixin weed with tobacco leaves many people like me quit doin that n rather smoke the weed it self... sometimes smokin with tobacco can cause to have coldsweats too.... sometimes smokin hard grades weed causes to and i belive its because ur body is not used to it ..smokin ciggarets .... as a weed smoker i find that it cause me to have much differents bad experiances cold sweats and bellyaches buh i could say that sometimes i does replace my smokin weed with ciggarets when there is not any weed around...it all depends if u star smokin weed u have to take ur time with it now if ur tryin to switch or smoke anythin alse us the same thin u cant just deside smoke a whole pack of cigarres one day buh u could used one or two per day

When you get such stomach crumbling, pain, loss of appetite or even dry lips after taking drugs/ marijuana then the best medicine is to start drinking water daily as many times as possible for a while, even before lunch or dinner or specially as soon as you get the pain. In addition, if you are smoking cigarettes, try to avoid/stop it for a while until you come back to normal. Please let me know if this helps: JOHN

I think you got it wrong at school if you don't think air goes into the stomach when you breathe. What is true is that when you eat no food can go into your lungs. But this doesn't work both ways.

I have this problem too, apparently it´s the chlorophyll inside the leaves. You´re not alone. Just take it easy, you can give yourself a stomach ulcer, so don´t eat too much.

Hey! I'm sorry to hear that :( I think it's definitely a combo of pot and not so good eating habits. I know if I over eat I get acid reflux. But also, exercise helps the digestive system to keep moving, and it releases endorphins so there is no need for weed! Have you tried essential oils to relax you??? That's my go to for everything. Stomach aches= peppermint oil rubbed on my tummy. Start taking a probiotic or make your own kefir :) there are so many other benefits to exercise and various essential oils though.

My buddy Mark has had the same problem. His are often and severe vomiting for days. All Doctors say relating to smoking. You say you smoke2-3 times a week. Be honest with yourself and realize the problem is the amount and frequency. Cut down to diminish pains and vomiting or cut out to eliminate them.

Hey guys so I've been having the same problems all of you have been describing. The stomach pains, nausea and vomiting. I was nervous that smoking so much (smoked close to everyday for 6 months) had given me ulcers or worse. So I did some research and came across this and it was like they did this study about me because everything they said was exactly how I was feeling. I hope this helps you guys out

Do you mix the weed with tobacco or anything? I can cause myself to puke if ive smoked too many splif bowls. Or, if i smoke weed and my body gets too over heated, i throw up. happens if the shower is too hot too. so maybe thats why?
