today was my first sexual encounter.im still a virgin. me and my gf planed to have sex, well i was reading something and it said if you masturbate 20min before sex you will last longer. well i went overboard and masturbated around 4 times from around 10am-3pm. then we tried having sex around 3.30
i couldn't get erect =[ is masturbating before sex the problem?
or was it just a first time thing? or i have a problem?

Firstly i must stress this is from what my friends have told me, i too am a virgin but have masturbation experience.
From what they've told being unable to get erect the first time is not uncommon, one of my friends took 3 tries before he could get erect.
As for masturbation, it probably lets you last longer but 4 times is too much if you wanna do what you wanted IMO cos i find its much harder to get an erection after masturbating a couple of times.
