I am a female. I seem to be finding myself thinking about sex a lot and thinking about masturbating more frequently. It does not disrupt my life though. And I only think this way [most of the time] when I am alone in my room. I used to look at porn but I am trying to stop. [I haven't looked in about 3-4 weeks.] Is there something wrong with me?

[Also, when I do masturbate, I feel really guilty afterwards. Is that normal?]
There is nothing wrong with you. I am a 16 yo guy and I wack it at least once a day, if i can. I feel the same way you do after. guilty or ashamed. Looking at porn is no biggie. Lots of people have it. some people are more secretive about it.

There is nothing wrong with you. infact I don't believe you should stop masturbating unless you feel its really hurting you. I'm a 15 year old guy and I feel that more girls should try masturbating because too many of them are all up tight and just need to relax.

Dear Clever User Name
There is nothing wrong with you, Ok!! you think about "sex" that is your hormones, and that is ok, they do weird thinks without notice and reason. We all think about sex, and being with someone.
So do you think of someone, a place or a general idea on sex?
I wish to say start talking to your girl & male friends about this openly, and that will help you air out all of your groups feelings and frustrations.
Feeling guilty about masturbation is the way you have been taught about "sex", if you have hard feels afterwards, talk to a person about it from a family planning clinic, they have the medical staff for this and is will be low cost or no cost help. So I am about 3 times older then you and I masturbate and so does my girlfriend, and think of sexual ideas, and we are OK.

Ps there are 2 types of boys - 1) that masturbates and talks about it, and the other is one who does it and will not talk about it, so if a boy says he do not masturbate, he is a #2 type. Open him up about talking this will help you talk about it also.
wish to hear a update on this.

I am 49 and have been masterbating for years....I think it started when I was 5 ... who knows. There is NOTHING wrong with loving your body or touching it and making it and you feel good. The more you know about your body the more you will be able to get pleasure from someone else AND be able to tell when things are not right with your body. There is no reason to feel guilty regarding your actions unless you are doing it in public and making other people feel uncomfortable..... But... I want to know and you should too for that matter.... is it the action that makes you feel guilty or is it the out come( no pun intended) i.e. the orgasm?

In short, my advise.... light a candle, put on some nice music, and find out what makes your feel good.... imagine your with someone you fine appealing.

Ok.... enough motherly advice

You go Mom, :-P
1. Anything that one does, that feels good, and it does not hurt anybody else, or, that makes you feel that you want to do it to someone else, is OK.
2. However. Not everything that makes you feel good is good for you.
3. Masturbation is OK as long as you do not know the truth about violating yourself. (Violating yourself means = doing something against yourself, that God did not made you for)
4. For instance: Before you know that wanting (for males) to have sex with every woman out there, and (Yes guys we all want to f**k all the women out there), but before one knows [that this act will separate us from having a relationship with God and Jesus Christ]; we are not in sin.
5. Sinning is not masturbating but dis-obeying God by having a sexual act in secret knowing that you are doing something wrong, because that is why you use a magazine, or porno, or something external to motivate you to achieve orgasm, (to Come)=Ejaculate)
6. Hence the guilt feeling afterwards. OK. God did not made us for us to have a sexual act with ourselves but for us to have a sex relationship with our chose opposite sex made for the purpose of Procreation and to replenish the earth. that was the reason God created two (2) sexual being s to complement one to the other in the Love that he Created for us to share as a couple - that is why the man and the woman becomes 1 flesh in Christ when they marry each other, to share the love that he created man and woman for.
7. So, read the bible and find out first what is God saying about how you live your sexual life, and you will see that God wants us to experience a full blown out sexual life "BUT WITH ONLY OUR MATE (OPPOSITE SEX) MATE" Read the Songs of king Solomon, which was the wisest man that ever live. 1:1 this is Solomon's Song of Songs, more wonderful than any other. 1:2 to a young woman" Kiss me and kiss me again, for your love is sweeter than wine. 1:3 How fragrant your cologne; your name is like... Check it out:
8. King Solomon, however, loved many foreign women besides Pharaoh's daughter, Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians and Hittites. They were from nations about which the Lord God had told the Israelites, "You must not intermarry with them, because they will surely turn your hearts after their gods." Nevertheless, Solomon held fast to them in love. He had 700 wives of royal birth and 300 concubines, and his wives led him astray.
9. I hope that this makes you want to search the bible for the answers to your sexual questions, before you go out and get answers from people that just want to talk without meaning.
10. Once I knew that Masturbating separated me from the relationship that I had with Christ, and to receive the Favor of God, I had to be obedient to his way, I asked him to help me to control and subsequent to take away that desire to "Jerk Off" and he has liberated me from whacking myself off and regain the blessing of God and multiply the favor of God, and now I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. I have regained the Favor of God. Good luck in finding yourself, and the true meaning of living REALLY FREE!
