I'm pretty skeptical when it comes to this stuff. But my 4 year old nephew was allergic to EVERYTHING !! He was allergic to most fruits, grains, and veggies. He was even allergic to lettuce !! He had hundreds of allergies. Peanuts might have been the worst. There were times when a peanut touched his skin and he broke out immediately. Worse was when he ate something that even touched a peanut... his mom would have to administer his allergy shot immediately. It was terrible for him and the family to have to worry about his food all the time, at home, at friends' homes, etc.
My sister took him to a doctor (Pinkston I believe) for NAET and after 2 or 3 treatments, they tested him. First they put a peanut on his skin. Fine. Then they put one in his mouth. Fine. Then he ate one. And he's fine. No reaction. Funny thing is, he doesnt like peanuts. But at least he isnt going to die if he accidentally eats one !!

I dont think it can hurt to try it (unlike pharmaceuticals) so I am going to do it too. Why not? I have been recommended for a rheumatoid arthritis clinical trial but I'd rather avoid that if at all possible. Even if NAET helps a little, I'll be impressed.

NAET works and that's all there is too it. So does Qigong and many other "Oriental" modalities. It is NOT a hoax or fraud. Western medicine does what it does but doesn't know everything. The best care is achieved through a combination of both Western and Oriental approaches as one can tell by Dr. Nambudripad's credentials. You break your leg, see an ortho Doc. Have allergies, see a NAET Doc. That's the way things work, get with the program.

I had several NAET done 12 years ago. It was a God send! I went through allergy shots for years as a child, then again a young adult. Each time, it took years to help and the benefits dissipated after a few years. I am still benefiting the NAET treatment all these years later.

And all the GP could say was that 'they don't know what causes Chronic Fatigue, and there is no cure' all the Chronic Fatigue people could say was, 'just don't waste your time looking for a cure and learn to adjust your life'. I'm sorry, I just can't take that as an answer - why should I? It was absolutely debilitating. I was sick of people telling me it was just depression, it wasn't, it was physical and real and really, really annoying. My teenaged son came down with it at the same time, after we both had glandular fever, then Swine flu - it was a triple whammy. Don't tell me I'm not sick, or I want to be sick, and don't tell me we didn't get cured virtually over night - with one NAET treatment!
If it was just 'faith healing', then why did it work on both my son and I - who were both skeptical about the treatment - I'd never heard of it, and thought it was hilarious at the time. She said I would be a bit 'wiped out' that night, and I was, I nearly fell asleep in the car on the way home. I was 'wired but tired' and had the weirdest nights sleep, and then the next morning, I woke up like the energiser bunny - I would have been satisfied with just normal energy levels, but this was amazing! My sons experience was different, and much more gradual, but the result was the same. Back to normal!
I guess though, on the other hand if you really didn't believe in anything other than western medicine, then you wouldn't credit any results for anything else. That's ok, I'll continue to be open minded, but cautious and make my own decisions - based on merit and nothing else.

Detoxification and reducing your candida and heavy metal levels - see a
holistic doctor. There may be certain foods you can't eat forever, but
this can help. Conventional medicine (allergy shots) didn't help me at
all! I did those for years! Every single ENT out there (for
allergies/sinus problems) has been a complete id**t. I have seen some
of the the top ENTs and cannot believe how ignorant they are - avoid
long term steroid use like the plague (steroids like prednisone!).
Also, unless you have polyps/a deviated septum, never get sinus surgery -
another surgery which can be avoided by finding out what foods you are
allergic to by getting a blood test - not a skin prick test! Food
allergies are picked up on better from a blood - environmental - skin
prick. I would 100% search and search for a great holistic doctor bc
unless you are in an emergency, conventional medicine only mediates the
symptoms - holistic gets the root cause. For example, if you are having
constant sinus problems, an ENT will tell you to get sinus surgery, a
holistic doctor might tell you to get a blood test and find out what
foods to avoid. When you avoid them, your allergies/sinuses will get
better. Our bodies were not made to have to get get sinus surgery!! I can't tell you how many ENTs told me I needed to get my turbinates cauterized/sinus surgery/go on steroid sprays, etc when all I needed was to find out the foods I am allergic to and avoid them!! My sinuses cleared naturally instead of having to get surgeries! I went back to 1 of my old ENTs and told him I am healed now & to please advise patients to get food allergy testing - he barely heard me! So sad!!

The NAET is NOT a scam but some practicioners are better than others. I was skeptical right up until it WORKED!! Then I brought my 2 kids and it worked for them as well. Each of us got new food allergies around a year apart from one another and all had amazing results with a great practicioner in NYC. I sent friends and they had great results as well.. GOOD LUCK and TRY IT!!! BTW i am 35.so similar age if that helps!!

Hello, are you still fine over a year later? I heard that NAET might work, but even if an allergy is successfully treated, this does not last very long (problems pop back up about a year later or a person develops new allergies). Could you tell us if the allergies have reappeared and how your health is now? Thanks a lot
mY FAMILY has had tremendous success with the above situations with Dr. Wignall in Vail, CO. He does a myriad of testing and can give results, that many others do not, but only diagnose. Good luck!
NAET is very effective! Most people get a lot of relief. I was able to get totally off allergy shots. I'd encourage you to give it a try.
NAET is awesome! My grandchildren, my daughter and my wife have all been helped tremendously with their life threatening allergies-food and chemical. Their food allergies were treated(several pages of them) which they can eat now with NO problem. My wife was hospitalized with anaphylaxis 4x , but after NAET treatment, can eat ALL those same foods! My granddaughter still has to limit peanuts, but the western docs put her on 2 IV antacids when she was 5 days old and said she'd never live a normal life, due to the severity of her reactions. Hi I have tried NAET. I am allergic to Milk ( all milk proteins) cats and house mites. I had two treatments. I was told that my milk allergy was gone....so prior to going for more treatment for the other allergies, I had a product with whey powder in it. I reacted in the same way, swollen throat, lips and tongue. So for me, it didnt work.
It certainly could be that you reacted to something else in the whey powder. Or a combination of things.
