That is absolute BS I did ibogaine In Mexico because I have lymes and chronic pain I was on dilaudids and soooo bad off the ibogaine doesn't magically give you self control if you relapsed that's on you but it got both me and my bro clean for years now. You obviously don't have the strength of mind to see the most brutal horrific hallucinations explaining exactly why I should never live that living death again. Either they didn't give you real ibogaine or you chose to relapse... I've been in physical agony my whole 18 years and I could never mentally give it up until ibogaine, also some people need to do it twice or more if they're minds are just not receptive my brother relapsed the first time but got a lottttt of insight and the second time we did it at home ordered it pure and he's a changed man! You have to want to just be sober and do acid n gooms and smoke weed but it sure as hell gives you a chance to change everything don't say ibogaine doesn't work I know sooo many people who's lives have been saved. My mom cried tears of joy when I was done tripping and had a look of peace and she says she doesn't think 50 years of counseling could've taken away all the bitter hatred in me and anger.... find a better clinic

Coming off sub was the worst for me... I relapsed again got on methadon and as long as you taper right and want to be off of it it’s fine, I was on 20 mg for 5 months and tapered down 2 mg a day the worst was when I got to 10 mg but after that even the minor w/d symptoms didn’t bother me as I was use to my daily routine anyway and sometimes u gotta deal with feeling like c**p, sh*t I don’t drink anymore cuz the hangover feels like I’m dopesick. But anyway the sub didn’t work for me cuz as soon as I started to feel like sh*t I cud take more whenever which ultimately got me addicted to Sub which was the worst w/d of my life

30 days. Never stop at 30. I need to rapper down to 1 mg. I don’t understand how people no offense don’t get this. I was a bio major and did massive research into this. U need to get back on and tapper slow

All these horror stories! I was on methadone for a little over 2 years, before that shooting herion. I tapered slow, I went from 160mg down to 1mg in 18 months. I did not feel anything, at all the whole way down. I never went down more then 3 mg at a time. I held when I needed too. I was so nervous when I got to 1mg, still nothing, stayed on 1 mg for about a week and was done. Its been over a month and I have had absolutely no withdrawals.

You may want if you can to go to 5mg for awhile when that feels normal go to 2.5mg don't hurry then 1 mg then 1/2 mg im doing this how ever long it takes I will even go to 1/4 if need be .With the help of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ

Please tell me how to get off 5mg of mtdn?I took a clonidine because tapering caused high blood pressure but clonidine interact with methadone and cause me Hypoventilation respiratory depression. I stopped using clonopine and now even though i am on 5mg yet i feel anxiety and depression. Should i go cold turkey from 5mg or should i go down to 1 or even 0?

Thank you so much.You inspired me with your post my friend.I tried to quit yestarday from 5mg and it was hell.I couldnt manage and i today i took 2mg twicer a day.How can i quit the right way?

1mg every 2 weeks is fast, if you're at 10 mg, it takes you're body 3-4 weeks to adjust to the new dose,

Woah, I'm on methadone 2.5 years now, I've attempted coming off at 5 mils about 2 years ago, ended up back on it, I wasn't really ready then, I know a lot of people on methadone, and with my own experience too I would really suggest staying on until your AT LEAST 5 mils or lower, you are going to torture yourself for no reason, also, your doctor is probably a psychopath, find someone that knows what their dealing with, honestly,you should report him for even suggesting coming off at 20mls, it can be a pain in the backside, but if you're anything like myself you probably realise that methadone can give you a level of normality that you never would have on heroin, don't be too keen to come off, you'll get there, I'm on 7mls no and considering stopping at about 2-3mls
