No offense, but I think something can be really wrong with you if you can compare weed to these man made drugs. No one's ever od'd from pot. These doctors are the biggest drug dealers in the world! They know most of their patients don't "need" Xanax, Oxycontin, and Adderall! But they know once you try it you'll be coming back for more! It pays the doctors, the insurance companies, the pharmacies and the pharmaceutical companies are really making a killing! And once you take them daily, slowly requiring increasing dosages, you're an addict!
Seriously, it's like choose your poison! U don't feel good?! You want to get high, right? That's the point, no? To numb the pain? They have us so brainwashed to believe just because it comes from a doctor it's safe! Drugs are drugs! They have so many dangerous side effects it's ridiculous! So we can pacify ourselves by saying, "At least it came from a Dr." but the truth is getting high is getting high! I'm not judging, life is HARD! Especially when you don't feel well! I'm only saying let's not lie to ourselves.
I was on morphine, fentanyl, hydrocodone for YEARS due to chronic pain. Those withdrawals are identical to what a heroin addict experiences. And I was only following the Drs. orders! Next thing you know I was chemically dependent. Even when I didn't have pain I still needed to take it just to feel normal and not down in the dumps! And I wasn't getting "high", my body became DEPENDANT! It had adapted to the pills and needed a certain amount of chemicals to maintain its norm. And guess what? I feel much better without them! The pain is finally tolerable when I do have it! I wish I knew then what I know now. It's called rebound pain, when you're only hurting because your body is craving more medicine. Same with anti-anxiety drugs- it causes more anxiety!
Now here's the number ONE thing NO ONE wants to hear: Most of these ailments can be solved with regular exercise! I used to go to the gym now I just go to my room, throw on some music and sweat for at least 30 minutes! Dancing, running in place, just whatever to get my heartbeat up. It was a b***h when I started but as it got easier I started to feel better! It changes everything- your body, pain, mental stress it all goes away because you are causing your body to heal itself naturally and your brain as well. It's called WELLNESS. Hope this is helpful to someone out there!
And yes when all else fails pot can be beneficial. Lots of people don't like it because of the smell but as they are changing prohibition laws, new products are entering the market so you don't have to worry about smelling like a skunk Lol Be well everybody!
