Hi, in the last couple of weeks, I’ve been having diarrhea and gas problems. Actually, it is mostly just mucus with gas. I don’t know what is causing this unpleasant condition. Any ideas?
Hi, I suffer from IBS, and have a constant diarrhea. It is mostly mucus, just like you described. I know it’s normal to have a little mucus in a stool, but in my case, that’s all I got. Mucus can be caused by bacterial infection, anal fissure, or a bowel obstruction. It is a typical symptom of IBS. I don’t have pain, but I often feel bloating in my abdominal area, and it irritates me. A friend advised me to eat fiber-rich food, and I have to admit it helped me a little. I thought of doing colonoscopy, to see if there’s a problem inside my colon. The sooner I find out what’s wrong, the better!
Hey, my symptoms include mucus in stool with constant mid left abdominal pain and bloating after meals. I'm 20 years old, 150lbs, 6'0. Anyone has any idea what's wrong with me?
