My husband tapered off sub for 1yr. He is now 3 weeks short of being off it completely for 1 year and he is still not back to "normal". How can we reach people to tell them the horror of this drug. I just learned a man at our church is trying to come off it and cannot. It is tearing him and his family apart both emotionally and financially. I want to reach out to give them hope but after 2 years of hell what do I say? It will get better I honestly am not sure it ever will. My husband was not on subs for addiction so I am blessed not to worry he will fall into old habits but seriously what good has come out of him being on this drug the last 9 years? Any hopeful happy experiences out there????
