My Labia Minora

Large labia minora is just a normal variation, like big breasts. I think the problem is that usually the only comparison women have are anatomical illustrations and pornography where women are depicted with small labia. Somehow that's been adopted as the ideal.

We should celebrate them as evidence of our womanhood instead of wanting to look like little girls. I think surgery should only be considered it there is a real abnormality and in most cases of large labia, there is not.

i've read all of your comments and well sorry to keep going on about this but i'm not happy about my labia minora. ones larger than the other and it isnt right. i mean if they were the same i wouldnt be having doubts. now finding out that i could get surgery i dont know whether i should. at one point i nearly done it myself. thats how upset i was. i burst into tears and thought myself as a freak. well i still do.

p.s i do have some ideas about the risks that i would possibly be taking if i were to get surgery.

please dont change your labia. its a beautifull thing. its sexy and its part of you. It is your sex.

I have kind of the opposite problem. I recently was talking to some friends who mentioned the labia minora to me and I had no idea what it was. They showed me what it looked like, and I discovered that I dont have a labia minora, at all! I showed my friends because they didn't believe me either and they were amazed. Im so glad I found this post. This has been bothering me this whole week. Just wanted to cast another vote to encourage women's self esteem who are blessed with large labia. I LOVE them and when browsing porn, that's exactly the pictures I look for. Years ago I dated someone with big lips and I couldn't get enough of her. It's a HUGE turn on for me and I'd happily adore and kiss them daily as a reminder.

I have pretty big labia also and like the countless others who have posted, I had refrained from sexual activity because of them .... When I talked to my peers about giving/receiving oral sex, I was always on the "I'm okay to go down on a guy, but I don't want a guy to go down on me...I think its disgusting" but only because I hated how I looked down there .... I had one boyfriend I broke up with because when we would mess around he would try to go down on me and I got scared that one day he would get there and see me and ... i dunno get sick and leave .... I have a boyfriend now who had to coax me for like two weeks before i VERY reluctantly gave in and let him go down on me and even after he did I talked to him and basically told him he didn't like it, instead of asked .... I still let him go down on me, but always bring him up to kiss me and finger me instead ..... when hes fingering me or rubbing my clit, I still kiss him the whole way through so he doesnt have to .... well so he can't look down there ......



even after reading all these posts about it, I've gotten only the minimal confidence boost about them ... it reminded me of when I was younger and I first noticed that they had grown and I was scared that it was because I masturbated too much....I got realli close to performing the surgery myself, but I was afraid of the blood and how much it would hurt .............

however, there are the good things about it, that apparently a lot of guys like them, but girls dont necessarily ask a guy that when they go on their first date, so how are we to know if the guy we're with likes them .... and that they're another way of stimulation ..... my boyfriend once went down on me and sucked on them a little and that felt reeally good ....

Krystal, rest assured no guy is going to notice or let alone dislike what he sees. Men are perverts by nature and extremely visually stimulated. Just take a look at the internet selection of porn or go to any adult bookstore, they are geared towards men. We like to look. We like to see. Bigger is always better visually speaking and most guys are probably going to be thrilled if they even notice you are different from other females because it will be something different and new for them to play with.

There's nothing I love more than sucking on the labia and playing with them. There are so many more ways to stimulate a woman when there is more to work with so consider yourself lucky. Your insecurity will be a bigger turnoff than anything on your body to a man.

Is it possible that a woman has developed an enlarged labia from having sex so much with so many different partners, or is it just a genetic factor?

Would guys still find it attractive if the girl only had one big labia?

does anyone know if kegel excercises help in reducing the size of the labia minora? Or if there are creams out there to make them smaller?
