I have been extremely self-conscious about my labia minora. They extend past the labia majora and are a dark pink/purplish color. I have never voiced my embarrassment to a soul. I started noticing a difference in my shape because of the differences in appearance between me and 99% of the other girls in my dance class. My leggings accentuated my pubic area, what some people call a "camel toe." As a result, I would pull them down a little bit.

Recently, I had a sexual experience with someone who posted a blog about me referring to (making fun of) my labia minora as a "taco." Although he didn't name me, I knew it was me he was talking about because of the description and time he posted events (day after).

This was shattering to my self-esteem. I knew I was different, but I didn't think much of it. I was always a little nervous that maybe it wasn't normal, but this confirmed my fears.

Years later this has stuck with me. I am currently with someone who seems to love to go down on me. But I always have a mental block and can't fully enjoy it. I came to this forum seeking advice about surgical reduction of labia minora.

Thank you so much for the men here for boosting my self-confidence. All of the other forums were filled with hurtful jokes calling enlarged labia various names and saying they thought it was disgusting etc. Coming here I learned that those people aren't the majority. That they are just people who laugh at "peepee poopoo" jokes and are informed about sex through barbie doll porno (aka big breasts, small waste, blonde hair, little pink vagina)...

It has also re-affirmed that I am with a winner. As a 21 year old college male and student athlete who has had experience with half a dozen girls while in serious relationships - I noticed many of them with large labia minora were self conscious about it.

However, in my opinion, the ones with this asset are the ones who I still think about often - and sex with them was amazing. I've been with a dozens of girls , about 25 right now.. And Im 21 years old. The ones i most remember ALL had big labias.... I am now in college, second year, and after being sexually active since high school and having a bit of an oversized labia minora, i just became more careless about it. Guys in college are more aware of the fact that us women come in different shapes and sizes down there and nobody really cares. If you carry your body with great confidence in bed then he sure will be loving it rather than trying to judge your parts. All I can do is empathize with you. I don't know why he won't do what you like. I feel it's my duty to pleasure my wife as much as she wants. I get my pleasure from pleasuring her. hey grow when you pull them,i am from Africa and in my counrty  girls are advised to pull them at a tender age.i didn't understand the reason behind it..i used to refuse doing it when my mum,aunties would ask me to do it..after asking from friends the use of it,i gave in and tried..to be honest..am glad i started pulling them coz there are helpful when having sex and oral sex...be proud of your big libia..and enjoy the sensation of it..
