Im 17 5'0 and I weigh 150 I took a test tht said I needed to weigh 100 for my height. I would like to loose 50 pds in a month. Can you help me with any ideas? Please! Im sick of being called fat. Help me
Dear Shelby! 100lbs is on the VERY low end of the scale! and also it depends on your frame it will be from 104 lbs all the way to 137! The way to find if you have a large body type or small one is for you to put your hand around your wrist! IF you can touch your little finger to your thumb you are small boned, ring finger, medium boned, middle finger big boned! So the weight will be around this 104 - 115 small, 113 - 126 medium, 122 - 137 big! It is IMPOSSIbLE to loose 1/3 of your body weight in 4 weeks! So focus on 13 pounds for now and then see, and then just go down accordingly! Also remember you are 17 which still means you are growing and maturing it takes girls till about 19 for their body weight to level out and figure to be there! Remember this that IF you try and loose too much weight, too fast, your period can stop, you are more prone to heart attack and extreme nausea and heart burn! And also calcium loss and bone problems! You HAVE to do this normally and as healthy as possible! Just have faith and love for yourself and it will happen! Be Careful OK? Good luck honey1

No! It's just eating healthy, small and often, and taking your time with exercise! Walking is the best! Or swimming! Unfortunately I can't do either - due to disability! BUT I have friends that have walked off 40 - 50 lbs!!! o.O They say it's the best thing! also the balance ball - where you stand on a flat surface but the bottom is half a ball! That burns a LOT of calories1 You just have to burn more than you take in! NEVER skip meals - asyour body starts hybernation! You actually loose more weight IF you follow this
Eat Breakfast like a King/Queen, Lunch like a Prince/Princess, Dinner like a Pauper! And NEVER eat after 6pm! Another great thing I did for awhile was a proteing and vitamind breakfast drink! It was AWESOME! And remember that usually the 1st 2 weeks of dieting you body gets rid of the extra water - most will loose 10 lbs in the 1st 2 weeks! And also drink 2 cups of COLD water about 1/2 to 1 hour before eating and drink water all day!
