My nose has been twitching for the past month! It drives me insane! If I just place my fingers on my nose I can feel my nose moving almost like a worm is under my skin! The twitching comes randomly and stays for a good 30mins or more.
It makes my entire body cringe and I get cold chills! I tried to put pressure on it but that didn't work it just twitched more. So then I lifted my nose trying to release pressure and again, nothing;
how ever this problem never came until I smashed my face off a grate. : my nose was pretty much split horizontally. It could have something to do with that but the problem came several months later.

Mine just started in the past week. Stess? Anxiety? Caffine? I don't know but it kind of tickles. It's just really annoying especially when I'm having a conversation and I start to feel it and put my hand on it to stop it.
:-)8-| I also felt this for two days maybe to much coffee but sure is feeling strange.
I believe it has to do with Caffeine I have been been drinking allot of coffee more than the usual that is, and my nose is randomly twitching on the left side I don't really know but this will have to do for now.
You all need to get off the coke
low calcium presents itself like that: perioral numbness and hyper excitable facial muscles
"This twitching in the nose started about a month ago for me. It is not constant but at times includes tingling in the upper lip area. "

I've had the same pulsing on the bride of my nose for the past month. Inside my nose on the right side I've got a weird bone growth that I swear wasn't there before. Its like a hard and akward layer of bone growing on top of the bone that leads to the nasal passage. I really hope my actual nose doesn't get bigger. I haven't been feeling well for the past year. Starting with irritibal bowel syndrome, swollen lymph nodes, depression, extreme fatigue, to unexplained digestive problems. I believe that i have is Lyme decease. You all might have it too. The nose pulsing gives it away. ***this post is edited by

Read it, check the symptoms list by resources and see if anything fits the bill for you. Lyme decease Manifests in everyone a different way, can be dormant for years and suddenly come up randomly or can develop emiediamtly. If u were ever bitten by a tick, it's likely u have Lyme desease, even if it happened at a very young age and without a vissable rash. Ive been bitten by 4 ticks two summers ago and haven't been feeling well since. A lot of unexplained things that have been happening to me lately have just made sense to me after I read the site. And if you do have Lyme desease, don't freak, there are natural cures to it that work better than mainstream medicine. google it online. Where mainstream doctors are not likely to help you out there's always alternative medicine. I've heard colloidal silver should cure Lyme desease. I need to look into it more. Iwill look into it and I think I'm going to buy it and try it out. I'll let you guys know If it helps. I understand I shudnt be diagnosing myself. But the mainstream diagnostic testing for this is not reliable. Its not worth it for me to Spend A million bucks on Testing that doesnt work anyway. For the First time all The symptoms i have all just fell into place with this disease. I'm trusting my gut on this one. I'm 17 by the way.
I have been having this problem for the last 8 years and have been to the neurologist 3 times and even had an MRI scan. They found nothing untoward, but I have to say it drives me mad and cannot sleep on a night for it, all the doctors want to do is give me nerve supressing tablets which make make me feel spaced out and not in control which in my line of work is not good.
This nose twitching problem has just started happening to me as well. Look at all of us with the same problem! 10 pages on: "WTF my nose is twitching." Just in the last YEAR! :-(
I am 18 years old and am a male. I think that Abbie on 5/23/12 11:01 AM may be on to something so I'm going to be checked for lyme disease. My nose had started about one week ago. My nose twitches on the left side and is NOT visible but has been twitching more when I am stressed. To describe it more, it's kind of like a throbbing that goes from my nose to about an inch underneath my left eye ball. I had also heard that it could be an early symptom of tourettes. My sources are not very good so don't take my word for it. Just in my opinion that is frightening to me! I will be starting college soon and I DON'T WANT TO HAVE TOURETTES!!! You can obviously understand why! To the people who think that it's all about the caffeine, I'm sorry but I would have to disagree with you. I have never had this problem in the past and I have drank 3-4 sodas a day. So I personally don't think it is caffeine. Still EVERYONE is different so who knows... Good luck to everyone on this strange nose twitching problem, wish you the best- bye. :-)

A few more words of wisdom, please watch out for vaccines that contain high amounts of bad ingredients. Before you call me a nut, look for your selves. Mr. Bill Gates wants to kill you. Please stay away from the evil anti depressant medications as well. "Personal experience is my source for that one." Good luck and god bless you all. Peace, stay alive.

My nose has been twitching and I think I have figured out why. I had a root canal performed approx 6 months ago and noticed that it was infected aka tooth abscess. I believe that infection has traveled and it has made my nose twitch. It has also gone to my ear and swelled my lymph nodes as well. Going on meds now to see.
question is, do you have an infection that is traveling?

I have a nose pulse too as well as had an tooth abscess tooth but I dont think they are related (possibly, but I dont think so). My pulsing just started this month and my root canal happened about a year ago..... I will be going to the dentist soon to see if thats the case though. I guess if something was wrong in my tooth, I wouldnt know it anymore since there are no more roots.
I am having the same thing! Did u find out the cause?
It may have something to do with your abscess tooth. I've been have the same issue lately, and I'm thinking the twitching in my facial muscles is related to the nerve damage from the abscess. Even though you got a root canal, you might still need to get your gums checked out.
This happens to me too recently. It's maddening. Does anyone know ?
Hello wonderful people, I am also having da same problem. Its like pulse on my left nose. I would really love to know the cause. Hope nothing serious. Its the third week now. Someone please release us all from the ?? marks
