I too am having a similar problem. I put those nasal strips on my nose and they have helped a lot. (you know, the things the athletes wear to breathe right) Oh, the twitching comes back when I take them off, so... I have left them on for three days. The twitching is giving me a headache. I don't drink caffeine, and I am not stressed out. Could be allergies for me, or perhaps lack of vitamins. But try those nasal strips.... At least to sleep.

Ugh! After sleeping with the nose strips I had a whole day of no twitching. But it just started up again. For me, my nostrils flare at the point closest to my nose. It is hard to do on purpose. I have a deviated septum and this may have something to do with it. Although, I often have a stuffed nose and this has only happened a few other times in my life. .... Back to another nose strip. At least, from all these comments, I am thinking it isn't dangerous, just annoying and painful after a while.

I've had the problem for 5 years it started as an upper eyelid pulse then went to the nose and cheek area, after testing and multiple docs it was determined it was all being caused by heartburn medication both prescription level and otc, if you Google side effects of zantac, prilosec ect. Facial tremors are an effect and unfortunately it is not curable especially if you are on a daily regiment

I'm glad i read your post because for 6 months my eys been twitching and nose tingles on left nostril and I was beginning to think it was neurological issues. I'm guessing mine is stress too. I think way to much about things and I tend to have difficulty sleeping because my mind wont stop thinking about it even when I dont want to. Thanks for the help with possibly leaving it in a book when I write about it.

I get that exact same pulse. It usually accures during or after working out or running. I've only really noticed it the past month though. It feels super weird and unnatural.

Mine actually feels tingling as it'll do it all day and I itch it thinking it will help and it doesn't. It never goes away with anything I've tried. It usually just stops on its own and then a few hours later it comes back.

I've had this "pulse" feeling in my nose and sometimes upper lip region for the last few days. Im going to guess its stress related, and stressing about this feeling itself makes it even worse!! Im only 20 years old, I hardly ever drink coffee, sometimes social smoke and drink. If this doesn't subside within a couple of days I'll go see a doc and hopefully I can get this to stop. Will post my results. Fingers crossed!!!

Hello all! I have the same problem of my nose twitching, and it started very recently for me, about last week. I am pretty sure my puppy that i spend copious amounts of time with (with plenty of licking on the face and body) has given me lyme. how many of you guys have dogs? because if most of you do and love them like crazy, watch out for lyme. i also didn't get my dog vaccinated for lyme so i should probably do that and go see a doctor to suggest that to him. i hope this helps you all.

I have good news for everyone here because I think I found the answer. My nose started pulsing about 5 to six months ago and I was also feeling very very sick. I had no appetite. I couldn't sleep. My brain felt clogged and I was always always tired no matter how much sleep I did manage to get. I didn't smile because I was so depressed and I felt so ill. I finally went to the doctor to get a blood test because I thought I might have lyme disease or something. It came out that it wasn't lyme but I got diagnosed with Epstein barr virus. Whoever posted about stress is damn right. I had a really horrible and stressful year and due my newly weakened immune system epstien barr took that opportunity to sneak in to my system. Anyway, the doctor told me there is no cure besides taking care of my body when I'm feeling very sick. Making sure to rest eat protein and sleep 8 hrs a night. Well, fortunately for me I don't believe in mainstream medicine and I went strait to my computer and started googling all the alternative things I can do to help cure myself. I found an amazing product called colloidal silver that absolutely changed my life. Colliodal silver is a natural antibiotic/antivirul that kills every single kind of pathagen that comes into contact with it in 6 min or less. Its been tried, tested and proven and it works better than any antibiotic on the market. Whoever is interested should do their own research on it. But I beg you to be open minded because alternative medicine as amazing and non toxic and wonderfull a lot of it is gets a very very bad rep in the mainstream world. Its your choice who you want to believe but I can promise you colliodal silver wil change your life beause it changed mine. After doing research on it and hearing real stories from real people I started on collodal silver. I felt very bad for a week and half due to the die off of all the bad pathagens in my body (which is called the herxing for any or you who want to research that) and my nose started pulsing even more but after about a week and a half my nose stopped pulsing and I started feeling better. My apitite came back. I suddendly felt alive again. I didn't feel so sick anymore. I started to find happiness in life again and my deppression slowly went away. I've been on collodal for almost 4 months now and my nose only started to pulse again when I neglected to take silver for a 2 weeks. Taking good care of yourself eating a healthy diet allowing your body to de stress and de stressing your life also helps a lot. I notice when I'm really stressed out I start to feel sick again so I hire my dose of colliodal silver to keep my immune system intact. Hope this helps all of you. Goodluck :)

I've been experiencing this on and off for about 4 years.  It started in my eyebrows, then between the eyes, now seems to reside mostly in my nose, just above the nostril, mainly on the left side but it can happen all at once sometimes which is the worst.  Sometimes I am able to see the twitching in the mirror, though it is minor.  It is accompanied by a heavy feeling in the left eye and forehead, behind the eyes and in the sinus cavity.

Previously, I have been able to alleviate the symptoms by removing caffiene (coffe, coke, etc) from my diet.  It generally takes at least a few days for the symptoms to reside.  I believe it is caused by a lack of sleep (we all need different amounts), stress (long term build up, not short term panic) and too much caffiene.

I sometimes find that coffee from certain cafes can cause it almost instantly.  I make note of these places and avoid them.  While caffiene is not the sole cause, I believe it is a key trigger for me which I can control.  The lack of sleep and long term stress is a little harder to control.

Mine is visibly pulsing in the mirror. Right under my left nostril above my lip. This is the 2nd time in a week, which is why I even searched. Hope it's not on set of Bells Palsey or something weird.

Left side for me too! I feel like people can see it moving.

I haven't thought much about it for the last couple of weeks and if it wasnt for the email i get one someone replies to this topic i probably would of totally forgot about it. I'm guessing it's a stress related thing and gets worse when you stress about the twitching itself. For now it has gone for me so thank god!
