Hi, I have been bodybuilding regularly for the last three years. I am very happy with the results I have achieved. Because bodybuilding feels so good to me I have decided to never give it up. Recently I have noticed facial changes. It seems that my face is starting to build up as the rest of my body. Can regular bodybuilding cause facial changes?

Hi, in case you didn't notice your face is made out of muscles and fat just like the rest of your body. Now you may not have been doing the exercises for this part of your body, but the face reacts to those you have been doing. Actually, what is happening is that your face is starting to lose the fat because of your regular bodybuilding. Your body is burning out all the excess fat and this includes fat from your face as well. Also, you may have not noticed, but when you lift weights your face doesn't stay still. You make all kinds of facial gestures and since you do it on regular basis, your face is changing. And if you are taking any kind of supplement for your body muscles, your face muscles will react to it as well. I hope you now have a better understanding of how bodybuilding affects your face.
