My wife had this done over a year ago and has had many problems. I feel very bad for her because she has painful cycles and vaginal odor. This has never been a problem until the procedure. We were not told of any side effects like this. I looked on FB for your Nova Sure page and can't find it. Hoping you could help. Thank you.

She needs to go back to the doctor. My friend had it done and had the same symptoms. She went back and they found a cyst. She had it removed then. Does you wife still have a period and wear tampons? That can cause the odor if she wears it too long. Tampons should be replace every few hours....or it can cause yeast to overgrow. they don't tell you that!
I had the procedure done 3yrs ago and I have a pain every now and then in my lower back(left side). My problem is I have these cyst bumps that look like it could be a rash. They hurt and itch and never fully go away. I'm going to get my hormone levels checked. Hope that helps!

I hope you will be happy and not end up hurting.
I have spent a year in hell with pain so bad. It feels like concentrated labor pain. I could have sworn I had appendicitis or a kidney stone the first time I experienced the pain.
I had my ablation done in 2005. From the information I have read now available most women still end up with a hysterectomy 6-9 years post ablation. As I post this I am scheduled for surgery next week. 0ct. 2014. I am scared but very hopeful that I will be pain free.

I'm experiencing all the symptoms you've described. Other than the novasure procedure and heavy bleeding, I was in perfect health. Now I have severe bloating, back pains, cramps, weight gain. I'm concerned.

YES! I had the procedure done back in 2011 and since then I'm experiencing the same problems! Since I had the procedure, my gyno doc has been asking me do I want a hysterectomy. Obviously, she knows something that I don't In fact I'm ready for one! I can't go through another month of living with this pain!

After having the Novasure procedure i developed Large cysts that caused so much pain alone and with urination that I had to have a hysterectomy , when I asked if the novasure could have caused my cysts I was told" cysts are caused by hormones and that the Novasure procedure has no effect on my hormones"

I really hope everything works out for you. I too, chose to have Novasure done and ended up in the E.R. The Dr. told me she thought I had ovarian cancer and I was immediately sent to a specialist to figure out what was going on. Long story short, I was put out for surgery, when I woke up, both ovaries and my uterus had been removed because there was so much blood that had pooled up and dried there. I have been on estrogen patches and trying to deal with early menopause that I was suddenly thrust into, believe me surgical menopause is NOT fun, it is so unbearable at times, I can hardly stand it!

Kris. Reading your story sounds exactly like me telling mine. It has made my life unlivable at times. I have sent a request to join your Facebook group. Sorry to hear of how this has treated you, and destroyed the quality of your life. Amber

are the there any known lawsuits that you know of against Novasure or even malpractice. My sister had Novasure ablation tubal ligation 2 years ago and has been suffering with pain the last 2 years. her gyn doc she finally switched gynecologist to have later been diagnosed with Post ablation tubal ligation syndrome which resulted to a full hysterectomy just yesterday.

I had this procedure done Sep 2014. The nightmare began just hours after the surgery. This was an outpatient procedure; however, I was hospitalized the following day with blood poisoning. I stayed in the hospital for a week receiving pain killers and antibiotics to remove all the bacteria from my blood. When it was time for me to be released, I told them there was something wrong with my stomach. It kept bloating out and was very painful. I was given a pamphlet on bloating and released. About a week later I was in the ER in server pain and vomiting. This is when I learned holes had been burned through my intestine and part of my uterus had been killed off. I had to have surgery on my intestines and also a hysterectomy. I still have pain from all of this. The doctor just says, 'Give it a few months and it'll get better.' If this isn't the most ridiculous experience I've ever had.
