im so happy i found this sight i go to the gyno for the first time tomorrow and one of my labia is way bigger than the other.and its been like this sense i was 10 n now im 16,my boyfriend didnt say anything and i thought ohh maybe he don't know nothing or thinks it normal.so now when i go to the gyno ill be relaxed and wont be scared that shell say something is wrong with me ;]

i'm the same, feel terrible, and it really bugs me. I hate when hubby goes down on me, scared he is grossed out. mine(right side) is really dark in color at the end. Just seems like dead extra skin that gets in the way and annoys me. Its like i don't even have a lip on the left side. But i don't remember it being that big before, could it be from child birth, i've had 2 kids naturally? I don't feel so bad for wanting to just cut it off now that i see all of u feel the same. thanks, but what else can we do, surgery is way to expensive.

I had the same thing. I know you all have just thought about it... but I actually did cut mine off. I am not wishing to condone this at all, but I am sooo happy I did. I in no way could afford the real surgery. It definitely isn't perfect.. I am no surgeon, but I am so much more comfortable now. I only used ice and a clamp to do it. It was terrible while it healed to use the restroom, etc.

Hey there guys. I'm 18, and have a larger labia minora, too. Mine is on the right. It started getting bigger after about puberty. I wouldn't exactly say I'm self conscius about it, but aesthetically I think my vagina would look "prettier" if I tuck it in.
But seriously, if your lover if bothered by your enlarged labia - forget him/her! If they are weirded out its only because they are probably uncomfortable with themselves!
I realized the guys I've been physical with haven't even noticed, or if they do they aren't bothered by it. So as long as YOU are confident about it, your lover will feel comfortable with it, too.
Or - on the brighter side - find some kink who likes enlarged minoras... XD

If you guys had ANY idea how men feel about inner labia, and how they talk about them then you'd cut yours off with scissors if you had to. They hate it, and they may not reject you at the time but the morning after they'll run like the wind, or they'll b***h about you to their mates.

THANK GOD i saw this post, i have the same problem, and didnt know who to ask (my friends are kinda prudish and i really dont feel like i can ask them, and i really did not wana have an awquard conversation with my mum)
iv been worrying about this for years and have also contemplated just making a little nip and tuck, but never dared cause i really knew it was a bad idea since im not a surgeon (plus i was worried that after doing that, it would turn out to be normal and id be kicking myself for doing it)
mine used to get irritated and feel kinda sore when i was 13, but it stopped being hurt after a few years, so i guess its no big deal now.
but i am worried cause my bf said a few times that he wants to go down on me some time, im worried that hes gonna think it looks gross, cause it kinda looks like loose skin that shouldn't be there... %-)

i have the same problem with my right labia. i think it looks really horrible and not very apealing atall. i lost my virginity last night and the guy didnt seem to care. he didnt say anythin about it. im sure its probably very normal. for me its just the idea of it not lookin very 'nice'
