One single bump on penis... recurring

ahh man, this is a lot more common than I thought, i decided to leave mine alone and lay dormant, the puss that was there is now gone(me trying to mess with it), and i am waiting for the hard scar skin to become soft again, I hope it heals in time for uni

we all have the same thing, sebaceous cyst if it gets really big surgery will be needed to get rid of it.

Well what I have is kinda like a big pimple only filled with blood. The first time pus came out but now blood. It keeps coming back and it hurts to touch. Sometimes it gets so big it pops itself. It's above my genitalia and I don't know if I should call a doctor or what. But it looks like no chick is touching me for a while.

I had several bumps on my shaft at the skin fold you get when you are limp (its up closer to the head than the base) that I have had for years.  I have been able to squeeze a pus like substance but it was a little different because it had a thicker consistency then puss from a pimple.  Had these bumps well before I was ever sexually active and they never went away.

Went to a urologist and told me they are common and that they are sebaceous cysts.  Said they can be left alone as they are harmless or cut out right there in the office if I was having discomfort.  I elected to have them cut out since they were bothering me and surprisingly did not hurt during the procedure (they numb your penis) and didn't have pain afterwards.  Was told not to have sex for 1 month and that the stitches would dissolve on their own.

Funny thing happened though as I thought I was in the clear to have sex 3 weeks later because the stitches were gone and it looked completely healed.  I was in Thailand having sex with my wife and incision site pulled open (didn't hurt) and gushed blood EVERYWHERE!  I had to go to the hospital in Bangkok and had them stitch it back up.  I know they were making fun of me the whole time while speaking in Thai.  Waited another month before having sex (or masturbating) and it healed up fine.  

Tldr- GO TO A UROLOGIST IF YOU ARE CONCERNED, ITS NOT A BIG DEAL.

Idk how to tell u but u got herpes.I had the same thing when I was 14 they took a culture it came back hsv.

Im surprised finding out that people actually had somewhat the same problem I had but it's very interesting, because I found a spot on my penis head one day and it resembles a small blister, I had it for a few days and was worrying so I went to a nurse, took my clothes off and had it inspected, the nurse did not know what it was. I went home and popped it and it heals and went away; however 2 weeks after I was grinding on a chick at a party and was super erected, I started to feel discomfort. I went home and discovered that it came back the same spot only filled with blood this time, I guess because if the erection....I popped it and treated it and never saw it again, this was 4 months back....hmmmmm! (perplexing)

I find it shocking that you guys have a problem with your penis and havent sought medical attention. Sex is very important to most adults and to have a problem with your penis you should go immediately to your MD. If you have limited funds, go to the public (general) hospital. If you tell them is is causing pain or such mental trauma that you cant function, you will atleast get it looked at. NOTE: if you are asked if you want pain medication, say you dont want it, if you ask for pain medication, you will be classified as a "drug seeker" and not take seriously. I have a bump on top of the middle of the shaft. It resembles a piece of rice under the skin. It's the size of a piece of rice and pretty firm. It has a hole on the left side, probably a pore. The "rice" could be pushed out, but the hole is too small. I asked 2 doctors about it when I was younger, and they said not to worry about it and it would go away. A number of years ago I cut the hole and squeezed out the "rice". It has slowly grown back and now I'm about to do it again. I hate this. Anyone else have something like this

Literally laughed out loud. I've also got a similar case, and it was starting to scare the c**p out of me. There's basically a small bump under the skin. Originally it was puss and I eventually got a break to get some of it out. It went away for a while, but now it's back and now it really doesn't seem to want to come out, so I've finally resorted to just not touching it. Everytime i touch it, it makes it worse. I have been using a spot of corticosteroid cream on the bump (for like rashes and stuff), it does work, but I have also been touching it, so I'm concerned it won't actually rid the damn thing away. 

I've got a bit of a suggestion - has anyone tried to find some topical antibiotic cream? I wonder if Polysporin will work?

had similar issue as the original poster. had an ingrown hair almost a year ago that and i pick the hair out that caused a small whitish hard bump. i kept picking at it, rubbing tree oil, dabbing rubbing alcohol for almost a year and its still there. i just recently went to the Dr and had him check it out. I was shy about going to the dr but finally man'd up and went. i said 'i noticed a bump on the shaft of my penis and im freaking out!' he checked it and said when i picked at it, it probably got infected and since i kept picking at it peeling the scab/skin now its a hard scar. its messed up because it looks like a wart and the only way to remove it is with cosmetic surgery like laser. he suggested applying moisturizer and heat. 

anyways the point is dont pick at your penis or try to fix it yourself! go see a doctor right away, theyre nothing to be afraid of. 

I have the same thing. I went to the doctor & he had me tested for syphilis. He said that's how it starts with a  single, painless bump. The test came back negative. My next move is to go to a clinic that deals with STD's. I'll keep you posted

Its a sebaceous cyst. Go see a Urologist and stop picking at your penis. Plain and simple. Source: Happened to me.

i have the same thing . like everyone said. little bit of puss coming out everyday. i am going to see a docter soon and let u guys know what the deal is. it will be in 3 weeks though. gl

I will tell you EXACTLY when I started getting this lump with a solid like center, one day I shaved before going out with my gf, and we went to the beach (sand, salt water, ect) and after that day I got a major shave infection down there.... after the shave infection left (shave bumps), that lump appeared!!!! Now mine is reoccurring ONLY after I shave, sometimes at the shaft base, or my sack (just one spot everytime) or right now (HERES MY PROOF), WHEN I shaved my taint with a razer used two-three times prior, couple days later loath behold, that f*****g bump is right under my taint. So it has something to do with shaving, or a reoccuring infection that happens. Now if I shave completely with a new razer and after im done I wash every section I shaved with anti bacterial soap REALLY well, I no longer get that lump......

Disagree. Seeing that other people have the same problem can be reassuring.
