I found this page logical. D mannose helps and the indication of sodium bicarbonate made sense to me since cranberry - though effective in removing an environment for the bacteria to grow - causes pain because it's acidic.

HHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPP!!!
As for the kidney stones... Go to Medline, Web MD or NIH and search for diets that will help you avoid developing the kidney stones. By the way, about 70% of all kidney stones contain calcium oxalate as the major component. It is composed of calcium and oxalic acid, substances in the urine that can crystallize inside the kidneys. Less commonly, kidney stones are made of calcium phosphate, uric acid, struvite, and cystine. Knowing the chemical makeup of the stone helps your doctor identify why you are prone to stone formation.
The kind of stone determines what dietary changes may be needed. Most notably, drinking enough water helps prevent all kinds of kidney stones. Some of the oxalate in urine is made by the body. But diet is one of several factors that can promote or inhibit stone formation. Other factors include heredity, environment, weight and fluid intake.
Eating certain foods with high levels of organic oxalate can increase the amount of oxalate in the urine, where it combines with calcium to form the stones. But only a few have been shown to cause a significant increase in urinary oxalate excretion. There are listed by the national Institute of Diabetes & Digestive & Kidney Diseases (NIDDK): High-oxalate foods: rhubarb, spinach, beets, swiss chard, wheat germ, soybean crackers, peanuts, okra, chocolate, black Indian tea, sweet potatoes. Medium-oxalate foods: grits, grapes, celery, green pepper, red raspberries, fruit cake, strawberries, marmalade, liver.
There is good evidence that cranberries are not high in oxalate and therefore should not be avoided as a high-oxalate-containing food for those prone to oxalate stones.
Ellura is made from clean pure juice most sugar and organic acids are removed in the manufacturing process without modifying the total polyphenol content and especially the PAC content. As a result, ellura is very low in oxalates, 7.5 times less oxalic acid than one 8 oz glass cranberry juice and 16.5 times less than one serving of 3.5 oz. of raw cranberries.
Give ellura a try. It will stop the UTIs.
Unfortunately there are no over-the-counter oral antibiotics… They are all Rx. Try calling your doctor’s office and asking them to call in an antibiotic prescription to treat your UTI. Explain to them that you cannot afford to pay an office visit this time. Also ask them to call in a Rx for a generic so that it will be very low cost. Some are free and others as low as $4.00. You are correct, you must have the antibiotic to cure an active infection. ellura will aid in curing the active infection as it will prevent the new and unattached bacteria from infecting you. ellura will also prevent the UTI from happening again. Just think, no more repeats!!!
The active ingredient in AZ0 that helps with your pain is Phenazopyridine Hydrochloride. It is a mild pain killer that works in the urinary tract. It does not cure or prevent UTIs. As the infection gets worse the AZ0 will become less effective…
"Escherichia (E.) coli is responsible for most uncomplicated cystitis cases in women, especially in younger women. E. coli is generally a harmless microorganism originating in the intestines. If it spreads to the vaginal opening, it may invade and colonize the bladder, causing an infection. The spread of E. coli to the vaginal opening most commonly occurs when women or girls wipe themselves from back to front after urinating, or after sexual activity."
So your men aren't necessarily cheating on you! It just means that he may have "E. Coli" in or around his penis that transfers into you, or it may be in your feces.
These are very painful. I have blood in my urine right now from a UTI. It's something that sometimes we just can't seem to get rid of! My doctor told me to use feminine wipes after every time that I "go number two" and to have my husband and I to wipe ourselves off before and after sex. Of course, LOADS of water...
So i get UTI's every 6 -10 months and i've tryed everything Cberry juic pills, 4 gallons of water a day, wet wipes, everything... I want to go to school for Alt med and so my dad got me The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Healing Remedies ***this post is edited by moderator *** *** web addresses not allowed*** so i decided to see what they have on this and it says make a strong tea with Yarrow, so i went to my towns Pagen/Witch shop and got some dried Yarrow flower and i went home put some in my tea ball and made tea... it tastes like c**p but not even 2o minets later, no more pain, i could pee with ease, it was almost like it had never happned. so to be safe i made more and kept drinking it (this time with raspberry tea bag in it and just a little bit of honey) for 2 more days. it is now day 6 and its still not back so i would say this works but i will keep you updated
btw i am drinking it out of a mid size (like a 1 Ltr soda bottle) and about 2 of those a day thats also alot of water mixed in so... do at your own risk but it works for me :D good luck
