I have had painful lumps in my back, legs, buttocks and arms for years. They are all different sizes. Some soft, some hard. I have too many to even count. The hard ones are painful and I think they press on nerves. I have constant pain. I had back surgery 25 yrs ago for herniated disc. I now have 2 bulging disc, spinal stenosis and have had fibromyalgia for many years. I have burning searing pain all over. I take pain meds but doesn't help much. I'm trying Gabapentin but I seem worse. Have only taken it a short time. Nothing seems to help. It is just a life with constant pain. No fun. I'm just about at my wits end. I play piano and that helps take my mind off my pain. I wish there was some kind of test, x-ray, etc. to find some answers. Pain controls my life.

I have this aswell they appeared after back injury and 2 years of sciatica dont know if thats the spelling but when i push hard with my thumb they make a pop sound and back pain goes away for a spell what are these ?

you should ask them to do a biopsy on both lumps. Get them do any tests and see what they actually are.

Anytime u have incontinence. ...With BACK PAIN IS AN EMERGENCY......go to ER....OR UR DOCTOR.....CAN HAVE HERNIATED DISCS......SCIATICIA.....pinched nerve.....muscle spasms. .....I went through this.....This can be serious.....go to your doctor. .....

I have been suffering from the same thimg, except it is above my right hip bone and it makes pain shoot down my leg and I stumble. I am sixteen years old and have been like this since I was fourteen. My docs keep sending me around in circles. None of this started until I got a pilonidal cyst. I had it surgically removed. I have severe back pain and pain in my right leg. I have had xrays and a MRI, and nothing is showing up. I'm so annoyed, my doctor thinks I'm exaggerating and that I just want pain pills. I don't want pills, I won't even take ibuprofen and Tylenol until I'm in so much pain that it hurts to even breath. I just want my life back without these stupid health issues

I got this same lump my lower back had it for years like 12-14 years always my lower back hurt when I did very much beening over to pick up something like a watermelon box just madder of min. My back lower back is on fire been to the doctor over the years some say it fatty tumors , did MRIs said it was just arteritis , they said one time they could drain it this last time they told me they wasn't anything to drain now I'm going to have my fourth MRI in the last 4 years again Friday to see what's going on I can stand up walk or lay down and it hurts but nothing like setting down it sure don't take much to put me down for a week pain pills will not touch this pain at all can't hardy walk setup or even get up when I do evey much it just put me down hope they fine out something Friday or I'm going to a horse doctor

There doing me the same way I got this lump in my lower back had it there for 12-14 years had MRI over the years fatty tumor to artists to pill something pain pill is a joke if I been over pick something out of a box 10-30 min gets me played up for a week in bed and hurt like hell sometimes longer I'm 54 been not as bad over the years but beening over did put it on me over the year I go for another MRI Friday well see what this will come out with this time .

Just had this lump cut out two days ago,when surgeon went in to remove the lump,there was six total,one as big as a golf ball with the other 5 being marble sized.She said that they were way bigger and many more than she thought by the marble size painful lump you could feel on the lower back muscles,We thought that there was just one small lump.She said after my surgery pain is gone i should see a big improvement because they were pressing on many muscles and nerves clear down into my hip bone.Im so glad they are finally out of there ,pain has been unbareable for last 13 years of suffering.Its terrible trying to find somebody to listen to you about this terrible constant lower nonstop daily backpain that ruins your daily life finding somebody willing to remove them.She said over the years she has removed many of these lower back lipomas in the lower back muscle area with every patient getting major relief when they are healed up from the surgery.I am very sore now from surgery from having them removed and them being so many with their large size and being so deep in my lower back,but i can tell already that once the surgery pain is gone that my quality of life is gonna be 100 percent better,i can tell already that they are no longer there and this is gonna be a great ending result to be rid of the lower back spasms with constant lower back pain eating bottles of antiimflamatory pills for 13 years,.I will update in weeks to come on how much better my lower back feels once i get rid of all of this surgery pain.For years i was told that this lump was a notted up muscle or nothing that would be causing all this pain.Neuro surgeon kept blaming all the pain on a bulged disc in my lower back with arthritis inflamation.I knew pain was always from this lump because if you pushed on it the pain was terrible and when it got inflamed around the lump all of my lower back muscles would spasm.51 years old and lump finally gone,thank you god.

Had same small painful lump for almost 15 years,unbearable lower back pain with muscle spasms.Many doctors,chiropractors diagnosed it to a muscle knot to a small growth.Finally found a surgeon to remove it 2 days ago,It turned out to be very deep the size of a golf ball with a growth of 5 more marble size fatty tumors growing from it branching very deep into lower back muscles down to my hip bone.I have surgery pain ,but I can tell that painful lumps are finally gone.It was bulged disc and arthritis always causing this pain is what I was told by other doctors,At 51 years old im glad it is finally removed from somebody that would finally listen to me.This surgeon has removed several of these(back mice) lower back lapomas over the years with patients getting rid of lower back pain after years of suffering.She is sure I am going to find great relief with all of the nerves and muscles that these tumors were pressing on causing me great misery for all these years.Thank god they are finally removed,My quality of life will be so much better without the daily pain.Find somebody to remove them if you are suffering like I did for years from non caring doctors.I will update in the next few weeks with my positive results

Biopsy came back as Angio lipomas,I still have a little surgery pain when getting in and out of car.Still a little sore if you press on incision.Surgeon said Tumors were about three inches deep,thats why I got so sore.I am feeling better and can tell so far that a lot of the pain that the lump was causing is gone.I feel so far that it was worth it to get them removed,I would do it all over again to try and get some relief.I have three bulged disc in my lower back,which was getting the blame for all of my lower back pain till I had a consultation with this new Surgeon.Im sure this gave me a lot of left side lower back muscle relief with these big back mice removed,The biggest one was the size of a tennis ball with the next biggest being golf ball size is what i was told with my follow up visit a couple of days ago.Good luck to anybody who decides to have them removed,I am sure glad that i did.
