Hi. I have had one of these around my left sacoriliac for years. Back doctors did not believe this could be the cause of my pain and I have been through horrible procedures and been burned. I have suffered with terrible pain. I had a plastic surgeon remove it this week and I will keep you posted. I already feel some deep tissue relief but will have to wait for stitches to heal to know more. It has only been 3 days so still very raw. I pray this will give relief as I am very active and this stops me from doing so many things I love.

I am also suffing from s know in my lower back on the right side. It hurts so bad at time it's hard to walk. Also I have a hard time sleeping at night. This knot feels like fate tissue. Does anyone know what causes this sort of thing?

They are not referring to a pilonidal cyst. Those form in the top part of your "buttcrack" (for lack of a better word), and they are in the skin. They are also not in the lower/lumbar area. These people are suffering from either a lipoma or some other growth beneath the skin.

What was your diagnosis? My daughter who is turning 18 this month has been struggling with this same issue for year. We have been to 4 different Dr's and they all say just fatty tissue yet they hurt her and seem to have gotten larger and more painful. Thank you!
