Hi, I'm 16 years old, female. And for about a month now I've had pain on the top of my head. It's more towards the back though, on the left side. But it only hurts when I touch it, just the slightest touch too. Kinda like a really sensitive bruise. And I've also had people check to see if it's discolored or anything, and it's not.
I was talking to one of my teachers about this too, and she said she had something like it too, and her doctor said something about tightening of the jaw muscles, and leading to her head? And she got pain killers and It went away, just I'm not sure if it's the same thing I have, ya know? Ha.
But if you have any clue what this is, could you please let me know? I'd just like some information before I go to the doctors and have to complain.

Ditto. I've experienced it also, or something similar, but as it's been temporary, never thought to pursue it.

My teacher said it was called TMJ I guess, so I looked up the symptoms and stuff and I have quite a few of them so I think I might set up and appointment to see what they can do about it.
I have had head pain for as long as I can remember. When I asked my siblings they said they had no clue what I was talking about. Does anyone know what it is causing them?
