my husband and i have been trying for a baby for overy 4 years , i was sent to local hospital for investigations. I under went some scans and blood tests. I have now been told that they THINK i have polycistic ovarian syndronme (PCOS). I was told that I was to take metformim for 6 months and go back to doctors to a follow up. I am overweight which does not help but i have read that metformim is a diabetic drug, but has been tried with woman with pcos do you know of anyone like me
