So since the beginning over November I was itching and then I scratched and I got burns. Went to the emergency room, doctor several times, finally my gynecologist. Shemprovided me with cream that worked but my symptoms are slowly starting to return and it’s mid December. Also, there was like this white grayish looking area on my vagina. Everyone thought it was from the SEVERAL creams that I had tried. Could it be lichen sclerosis and was a biopsy performed to test that?
Hi there. I know this is a very old post of yours, but i wanted to know your progress? I have been diagnosed with lichen simplex chronicus. I was prescribed with clobetasol. I wanted to know when did the itch went away for you? When you applied the desonide, did it immediately relieve the itch?
I read all these replies and was surprised to see no one suggested estrogen cream. I use Biestro Care from Amazon. Just a dab of a pea size amount applied directly over the area once daily and my relief came in under three days. Nothing else had worked for several months. I was persuaded by the positive reviews on Amazon. I also use Progesterone cream as it is recommended to balance Estrogen. I alternate one in the am and one in the pm. And only a few times a week now that it's under control.
i relate to all these symtoms... have any of you also had swollen glands in the groin area along with everything else?

Examine your diet. I’ve had the same issue and found that I am allergic to so many things I eat: yogurt, flax seed, tomatoes, sprouts, raw cashews, and now, more recently, CBD oil. It may take a few days to purge the offenders from your body, but my guess is it may be a food trigger. It’s very frustrating, and like you, it took me a while to get it figured out.
