Vic's Vapor rub will help with some itching temporarily. It burns a little at first but helps a lot.
NO STDs
NO Yeast
NO JOCK ITCH!
This itch on the innter and outer labia was killing me. I've had to use ice packs at night to keep from drawing blood from itching. It has spread from the labia to the anus and to the side of the corner of my legs.
I've heard B2 or B complex could help.
I've heard eating oranges could help
I don't diss the "mineral deficiency" thing..it's actually helped me before with a hip joint issue where a specialist couldn't find anything wrong..never asking if I might be missing something from my diet. About 40-50% of problems can be solved with vitamin or mineral deficiencies! Lo and Behold...vitamin deficiency.
Regarding the ITCH!!!
I found a product today that may give relief. I put it on and had relief in 5 minutes for hours.

It may be giving you a protective layer in which we've all scratched off.
Let me know if it helps

Try changing your toilet roll. I'm pregnant and itching... I used Andrex toilet roll but within a couple of days of changing brands (to Andrex) I started getting thrush like symptoms....then the really bad itching. Did some research and read about alergic reactions to toilet rolls.....
I've obviously set something off and am now working my way through the different brands of rolls to find the one that doesn't cause me problems. Hope this advice helps!!
Good luck.

Hi all,
I have suffered with BV on and off for the last 3 years. It seems to clear up with a combination of Metrinidazole and a gel that you use internally called 'Balance Activ' which is available to buy online for around £10. I found that although the internal symptoms seem to clear up I'm left with itching and soreness of the labia which drives me mad. It's worse at night and nothing I put on it seemed to help. Then I discovered, quite by accident, a cream that gave instant relief and I'm soooo happy! It's made by a small company in England called 'Purepotions' and is called 'skin salvation'. I don't know if it's widely available but I'm sure they could post it all around the world if asked. The cream contains a magic combination of ingredients including: olive oil, bees wax, hemp oil, calendula, chickweed, nettle and camomile. The itching, which had been going on for months and causing me such misery, just went after the first application and the soreness cleared up withing a day or two. This might not work for all, but it certainly did for me. The only other information on the jar is a phone number which is: 01273 623123. Good luck!

It started a year ago...it was mild at first. I'm 38 and have had less than a handful of yeast infections..every one cured by simple monistat...so I know what it's about. Doctor kept saying yeast infection...after I already did a monistat, I told her it doesn't feel like a yeast infection. It's a different kind of itch...it's creepy crawly..like bugs coming out of your ass. Feels like a nervous twitch. Makes you jump as the electrical impulse intensifies..it's impossible NOT to itch it.
I was treated also for UTI (Urinary Tract Infection). I needed two treatments of this since it came back within 4 weeks.
Still itchy though....and then spread to the anus! Itching worsened and the labia turned shriveled and became painful on top of it. Needed ice packs those nights!
It's not a yeast infection..if it was..you would get the "cottage cheese discharge".
Finally, she says Lichen Sclerosis...then a biopsy (which hurt like a son of a b***h when they give the shot - be ready to scream bloody murder!!!) and steroid cream with lidocaine...helped somewhat. Can't they put an anelgestic or pre numb before they put that shot in..dammit! Results coming soon.
I also started pumping vitamins a few days after the biopsy..I've had improvement. I think the person who mentioned the chinese herbalist was right..something is missing from the diet..some minerals and vitamins. I think its a long healing and getting these back into the system.
8 years ago I also had a hip irritation when I walked. Went to see a orthopedic specialist..didn't see anything wrong in the xray..and claimed I needed physical therapy. He was wrong...I was doing regular daily damage to the body..except it wasn't able to repair itself from it's normal daily usage of walking..started taking vitamins..voila! A 6 month hip issue... gone in 3 weeks..never to return. I wonder, because I stopped taking vitamins, and bettered my diet..and then maybe faltered my diet....that this other thing sprung up a few years later.
Don't EAT junk food..Avoid processed foods and take out...start eating rice, beans..vegetables and loosen up on the dairy. Even if you don't take vitamins..just start with a multivitamin..add a lot of stuff to a salad..you can add garbanzo beans, parsley, mandarin oranges..etc...have fun with it. Throw some salmon into the salad.
I've weened off the steroid cream from once a day to once every 4 days. I would say if the worst was 10..I'm down to a 2 or 1 for itchiness and annoyance factor.
Look at your diet first..I should've done that at the first moment. That biopsy was a b***h!

I have this problem when I eat onions.
guys try boric acid capsules. inserted at night for a month and then once a week for 6 months. cured me.
i had an itching vulva for the past 2 weeks. i tried to apply virgin coconut oil on the affected area using cotton, and fortunately, i feel better now. i hope it will work on your case. just make sure to clean the infected area first before doing the treatment. apply as often as you can :)
I had extreme vaginal itching for 10 years and was tested for all the diseases, but they all came back negative. They kept telling me it was the soap, my detergent, ect... but I didn't believe them. Creams failed to work, finanlly I went to a dermatologist because of Alopecia (hair loss) and vaginal itching and had them biopsy the area and was informed I had a skin condition, I think he said eczema, don't really remember, but anyways.. The dermatologist said I should use the clobetasol .05% solution, which had been prescribed for the Alopecia (hair loss) and guess what it worked. Somehow this medication corrected the skin condition and I no longer have flair ups, which when I use to get a period would be the worse the week before.. I also discontinued using bacterail soap(dial) and now use caress... because I think it was the dial soap that changed the chemical balance of that region and my skin to begin with.
It could be Lichen Sclerosus. It is very itchy.. You need to go to the doctors and have them test you for that....then there is a special cream that you can get.
try betdine. it works for me and i hope it works for you.
I suddently developed an intense and persistant vaginal itch, and I tried the Baking soda and it does relieve temporarily and the Vagisil is temporary and it just flare up again. I consider myself to have very good hygience, but I did just last week get some penisillen for my foot, and a couple days later I flare up. I know it is not sex or anything, because honestly I have been abstinant for twelve (and menopausal). But what I am concerned is if I caught something in one of the restrooms I frequent where I give Plasma (so many strange people) and they do not have seat cover, nor do most of the establishment out here in Albuquerque New Mexico. I personally am from California and I never had this problem for the twelve year I lived in Contra Costa county, so If I did catch something I will make a noise and very loud to 7 on your side or whatever station is here in New Mexico about their lousy hygiene practices.
Well, it would be nice to get some kind of relief or a remedy to get rid of this...it really is annoying and bothersome. I am going to see a doctor on Thursday, so I hope it is the Penisillin, cause I have broken out in a yeast infection in the past..but this time it is more external and not internal...so WTF!!!

I struggle with the same thing. Doctors are helpless with this problem, and I decided to be proactive.
Wash with nice warm water, use goldbond with the red cap! you have to apply it about every 3 hours! Each time to pee, use a washcloth with cold water to wipe clean and rinse the acidic urine away. then apply the goldbond cream. If the itchy is horrible, proceed to sit on ice packs. This really works.
If you have diabetes, you are more prone to this disorder. If not, try a daily vitamin and b6 and b12. If you are menopausal, try an estrogen cream too, to keep the thinning and dry skin moist!
Let me know if this helps. If you find anyting that really works for you PLEASE post it. I understand this is a long term issue that needs lots of patience.
