For demographic purposes, I'm a 23 year old white male, and I shave completely about once a week while sexually active.
**DISCLAIMER** I am merely providing an example of my experience, nothing I've stated has been proven or disproved! It is not a diagnosis!
And for any blossoming adults who may see this, when I was going through puberty I had random acne pop up in all kinds of "weird" places. Make sure that when you shave you go with the grain to prevent razorburn. In general, you may want to pay more attention to persistent symptoms, but always be mindful and remember it's better to be safe than sorry.
Hi everyone. I used to have these little white bumps in my pelvic region that would bleed when I tried to pop them. I asked my doctor about them and he said it was some kind of infection but was not an std. He had told me I would need to have them lasered off which I did not want to do! If I popped them, the infection would spread and cause more so I tried to figure out a way to get rid of them myself. I am not a doctor, but what I did worked and I don't see any way that it could really be too bad. I would pop the ones I had then take a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol on it and rub it all over my pelvic area. Even if I didn't have any to pop I would still put rubbing alcohol in the area at least twice a day trying to kill off any bacteria. Within a month all of the bumps were gone! It's been about two years and I haven't had any come back and I haven't used rubbing alcohol since they all disappeared. Like I said, I'm not a doctor, but maybe that can help some other people with the same issue! Good luck!
