Hey guys I just wanted to take a second and share something I found with you. When I was deployed to Afghanistan from 2011-2012 I started getting these really deep acne spots on the back of my head. I always thought it was from the headgear and helmets but it was still really hard for me walking in front of people or getting haircuts knowing people could see the breakouts would have to touch my head during a hair cut. I waited till I got back to the states thinking clean water and less sweat would help but it never did. I googled everything and searched all these forums and found all the shampoos with salicyic acid (I think that's how it's spelled) and tea tree shampoo (Paul Mitchell recomended by the lady who cuts my hair). I would think it would clear for a day or a few then it would rage back. My wife always said don't pick but I was so self conscious I always did because I had to pop them. Then my wife started selling Rodan and Fields which is, what I thought, a skincare line for women. She kept telling me to try this stuff they make called unblemish. I fought her on it and after buying more and more shampoo I thought would work I told her to just get it. The stuff costs I think 38 which I thought was a lot until I compared how much I spent on the combined 3 shampoos I was using a month. Anyways the stuff lasts me a month and I just rub it on the back of my head in the shower for 30 seconds then rinse. It's a sulfur acne wash and I swear it's the only thing I ever had that works. Now I just use a normal shampoo and the acne wash in the shower. After 3-4 days I cleared up and a month later I broke out one last time for 4 days which is apparently common and is the remaining trapped stuff coming out. It's been 4 moths since then and I haven't had a single breakout. I know this sounds like a sales pitch but it's not. Yea my wife sells it but my biggest drive in sharing this is remembering how self conscious I was standing in a line at chipotle or at a grocery store and trying to stand sideways or have a hoodie up so people didn't stare at the back of my head. It sucked feeling that and it's awesome not worrying anymore. So if I can help someone else not have that fear anymore then it's worth it. If you want to know how to get it shoot me an email and I'll help you out. It's not a subscription you can try it once and return it if it doesn't work. Good luck guys!

I have been having this problem of acne and pimples back of my head. I have been discussing with my doctor and also was worried. In the process i have changed shampoos, conditioner which worked temporarily but not permanently. However these days the pimples in my back has stopped quite dramatically after analyzing the food intake. I have cut heavily on protein intake (Stopped chicken and eggs) I have also cut down on the meat drastically which has resulted in no pimples or acne on my face and also on back of my head infact i used to also get pimples on my back now i don't get it. I mostly consume vegetables, fruits, greens, seeds and I am all fine.

Similar problem here. After doing a little research, I found that there is a correlation between Vitamin B-12 intake and acne on the scalp. According to some site, one of the side effects of too much b-12 in the body is folliculitis, which is an inflammation of the hair follicle that manifests itself as a red bump in the middle of the infected follicle, similar to a pimple.

I have bad breakouts on my neck and back. I used dermalmd blemish serum twice a day on clean skin. After the first two or three days my skin had an increase in breakouts BUT after about a week with the product, my skin is smoother and much clearer! I am very happy with this serum! I have always heard that breakouts will get worse once a regimen has begun but will eventually clear up. I recommend dermalmd blemish serum!

I have had these bumps for about 10 years , but starting out it was only once or twice a month but the last 3 years seems to have gotten worse and does not let up as one disappears 2 more will show up . I have tried many shampoos , peroxide, even the one that smells like tar , I would spray the back of my head with a antiseptic before bedtime and still no relief ( trying each of these at a 2-3 week time frame ).BUT THIS DID WORK for me.. after a shower I would pat my hair dry and then lightly pour Vinegar on the back of my head and let air dry and has improved so much and so fast that I believe in my case there is too much chlorene or other unwanted contaminates in the water, this seemed to work good by itself but sometimes I use baking soda as shampoo and rinse with vinegar . I have also tried different pillows that are supposed to be cool but do not work. The one that did work was purchased from Mattress Firm called Lux Living and has many 1/4" holes in it to really help keep cool. I do still wash my hair with shampoos of different types, does not seem to be a shampoo problem, vinegar is used at least 3 times a week. This does work, be patient .. 5/17/17
