Because this happens in sleep its called nocturnal seizures, usually when you are in deep realm sleep as you are awakening these episodes happens ( parasomnia ) look it up research it.
Your brain is partcially awake you know whats happening but cannot do anything about it. These often come in clusters usually lasting just a few brief minutes.
I was told that i was in an episode for 10 minutes back in april, my niece who is neurology nurse recorded. Ive been diagnosed with 3 three types of seizures parasomnia is the most frightening because I know

I think it just happened to me for the first time last night. I was dreaming pretty heavily, I had been all night. All I remember is that in the dream I was with my bf and I was like "look see how bad I'm shaking" and I could feel it all over my body and it wasn't stopping and I remember it being very hard to move in the dream. From what I have researched if you feel it in your dream you are also feeling it in real life because your brain cannot make nerves feel something like that. So I was curious to see what others had to say about it. So does my experience sounds like it could be what you're referring to?

This is exactly what happens to me. I'm very tired afterwards. I fall asleep, my eyes roll back, I can't wake up and I feel like I fighting to stop it. I started when I was young. I am now 36yr old. The ONLY thing that has worked for me is me saying JESUS repeatedly. It is POWER in the name of JESUS! Then I wake up...feeling exhausted. There have been times I have seen things and heard things before during and after this happens. I pray as soon as I wake up.

I've had this stuff since I was a kid and I tell my wife all about sleep paralysis and my brain feeling like scrambled eggs, there seem to be a lot of us and I get the feeling like something evil is in the room. I don't think we have need to worry, but I would like to have an eeg...

I was 15 in 8th grade when I sprained my wrist rly badly. Closing it, flexing it, or just lifting things with it, would hurt. And I just had that happen to me as I was going into social studies. And I lay my head down on the desk and then all of a sudden, I'm on the floor. My eyes are open but I can't see a thing and my leg is on the chair and the other on the floor. I'm trying to get up as my vision slowly comes back and I was so embarrassed. Errybody was looking at me. They kept telling me I was shaking or something. I never knew what it was. All I remembered was lying my head on the desk and like 20 secs later, I'm in the floor..

So I’ve been reading through a lot of these and it’s incredibly close to what I experienced last night.

Last night it thought I heard a door slam of which created a deafening feedback noise in my head, I was convulsing pretty heavily and trying to call out to my lodger in the next room but I could only manage to murmur. I couldn’t open my eyes fully either, it’s was intense and frightening. I finally let out a scream and sat up right. My body ached and I was exhausted.

All day today I’ve been figuring out if I was dreaming or not. I had loads on my mind before I went to bed but I felt the physical effects when I was fully conscious.

I was hoping to find an answer but I’m none the wiser.

My boyfriend doesn’t have a mental illness but I found him shaking in his sleep. I asked him about it and he said he was just having a bad dream about jumping off a diving board.

I had a dream once where I started to shake and my eyes rolled back and I heard this demon speak in this total different language almost like Spanish but not Spanish
And I heard it in the corner of my room and it's voice was so deep and demonic I thought I was getting possessed
