I recently turned 35, and I am thinking about trying to conceive, it would be my first. I am a very nervous person , and after reading some of the negative things online, I am even more nervous to pursue this. My question is, is it common for women this age to have babies? Is it very difficult to get pregnant at this age? If I do get pregnant will it be extremly dangerous to the baby and myself?
There is a higher risk after 35 but is not that all 35 year old moms have complications. Ive seen women in their 40s give birth without complications but then some in their 20's have complications. We have no control over this. Have a good ob follow you. Good luck. U should be fine.
A family member had her first at 36 or 37. Everything was fine.
