Hi all, I had my gallbladder removed on the 14/11/15 after weeks of pancreatitis and hospital admissions.
Surgeon reassured me that surgery went well but all was inflamed.
I am due back to work next week although I can't lift or drive well but the doctors seem to think that I should be recovered by now and should go back to work. I know I will struggle to work and can't even wear a bra as it hurts too much.
My main fear is that I am experiencing pain across the top of my abdomen and to the right side, similar to the attacks I used to get but not a severe and not for as long. Can anyone let me know if they have experienced this and if this is normal I'm so worried that this nightmare is not over.
Any feedback would be great my consultant just said it should go soon

Thank you for posting your positive experience. I just had my surgery 5 days ago and aside from 2 days of sharp gas pains in the neck/shoulders I feel like my surgery was mild/manageable. I just came on here to see if feeling diaphragm pressure was normal at this healing stage. Some of the horror stories where freaking me out!

Hi Susan, my name is Christy. I'm 45 years old. I had my gallbladder removed last Thursday. Today is the following Wednesday. I don't see the doctor until this coming Monday for my postoperative checkup. I have been experiencing night sweats and nightmares. I know this probably sounds ridiculous, but I'm not one to wake up crying in the middle of a bad dream and these are really bad. But the worst part is waking up and my sheets are soaked, my pajamas are soaked, with sweat. I've never experienced anything like it so I'm wondering if it could have anything to do with my surgery. ... please tell me I'm not going crazy

Two months after surgery, I'm still miserable. Still have pain in abdomen, like an enflamed ball inside. Not to mention the awful exploding stools that can take your breath away! Nobody tells you about that afterwards! I wish I never had it done.
