Hi Nicky I know this post was posted ages ago but how did you get on? I have had the same feeling and had my ct scan. Is this still happening for you?
I have recently had the same problem and do suffer with anxiety. I feel relived that I'm not on my own. I have been practicing mindfulness and this does help sometimes. I feel dizzy at times and get strange senstion in my arm. I have taken stemetel which does helps sometimes. Its very frightening and very un pleasant
I have the same problem for about 6 years now, painful nose that would go into the roof of my mouth, all around my eyes and back to my neck.
My sinuses are clear, CT scan clear, tried every nasal spray under the sun. I paid to see my consultant privately to be taken seriously and said to him it feels like I need someone to smash my nose in to stop the pressure.
I've had anti depressants and tapentadol (palexia) which is a rather new, and strong, painkiller, that I take for fibromyalgia that doesn't touch the nose pain.
I literally cried when he told me there was nothing more he can do except suggest massages to ease my upper back pain as he thinks that's the root of the pain and to practice mindfulness.
I even begged for rhinoplasty just to try anything to stop the pain - he sensibly declined.
Looks like there's no answer for this pain we have, I definitely recommend massages and acupuncture, they relieve my symptoms but always come back, but think all I can do now is manage the pain and pray for a cure one day.

Omg I have the same issue i even get migrains due to the pressure but now I pop my nose and the pressure is relieved . I wonder if its bad to pop your nose a lot.
I've got persistent nasal pressure and had it for over 2 years now, it's a pulsating pressure, had mri and ct scans, I have an obstructed maxillary infundibulum and getting an operation in July, but I find when I block my nose and blow it I get relief for a few seconds.
I had the same problem 5 years ago and it came back today. It's a symptom of anxiety and stress. I also felt dizzy. Just do the electro acupuncture and massages. No pills helped me. I did MRI, X-rays, Chiropractor ....everything was negative. I didn't know what is going on with me. I couldn't even walk. I was like paralyzed for 3 months. I went to Emergency room several times,. They gave me a pain shots and pills, but nothing helped. I had terrible pressure in temples, nose, jaws ....terrible jaws pain. I called the taxi to take me to the nearest acupuncturist and that is the only thing that helped me. Try electro acupuncture. It helped me and I went only 1 time and after my treatment I was able to walk back home. I am about to book an appointment for the electro acupuncture again.
Thank you very much. That makes sense, to be honest, now that I put all the pieces together :)
IV BEEN ON ANTIBIOTICS FOR 2 MONTHS AND I STILL HAVE IT! HAD MRI, AND NOTHING. MY NOSE FEELS LIKE ITS GOING TO EXPLODE AND ITS WEARING ME OUT!LET ME KNOW IF YOU FIND OUT WHAT IT IS, PLEASE. IM WONDERING IF I COULD HAVE CANCER BACK THERE.

I’ve had this same condition for years. Still dealing with it with no answers. For me it turns out it wasn’t my teeth. I say this because I had all my teeth pulled two years ago and I still have this awful condition. It affects every day of my life.
