If you do not feel hungry, do not force yourself to eat. Especially if you are experiencing loose stools. The best information I can give you is to drink lots of fluids to keep hydrated and try to take some Imodium it should stop the loose stools. Any fatty foods you eat, fried food, salmon, cream, etc will cause loose stools even if you have had your gall bladder out.
I have experienced it for years, done all the tests, and the imodium is the best thing the doctors will describe even when I went to a specialist.
I had this happen to me for weeks at a time when I was at my most anxious. The anxiety causes the loss of appetite. The yellow stools are from the food digesting too fast because of your anxiety. When your anxiety heals this symptom will go away I promise. It happened to me!
Um, if you have some sort of bacterial infection in your GI tract that your body is warding off by diarrhea, taking an anti-diarrhea medicine is like the worst thing you can do; you're undermining your body's natural defenses.
If it's a problem with digestion, maybe take digestive enzymes and try a bland diet (e.g., bananas, apple sauce, rice, and toast) for a few days to see if that doesn't improve the problem. Otherwise, go to a doctor.
What about inflammation of gallbladder?
???? how is everything going im starting to feel same way
Hi,
I wanted to drop a quick message for those who may have suffered the same issue (yellow stool, pain in gut, loss of appetite)
Let me tell you guys, 2 years ago, I went through a lot to find out what was causing this, and for me personally, I found the issue. It may not be the same solution for everyone.
I had yellow stool, my white blood cell count was low, i had no energy, i had pains in my gut etc etc.
I had an MRI, XRay, they checed my thyroid, blood tests, i switched doctors and finally was sent to a internal specialist to have him do an upper GI on me.
Upon doing that, they found some burnign and inflammation in there due to acid re-flux. Doc put me on prilosec or something like that, which helped a LOT.
Then one day... i thought about it. All of this came on just before the birth of my 4th child, id pulled an all nighter to a conference half way across the country, i was eating terribly i was out of shape.
The problem and root cause of all of this? Stress, poor diet, no physical activity, HORRIBLE sleep habits.
So i started running, working out, eating whole foods, bringing vegetables and proteins in my lunches, and the working out handled the stress, i also worked harder at trying to find ways to release.... i never played. I was all work. So i got a hobby and I play video games a couple times a week.
Guess what, the problem disappeared, im off prilosec, i feel good (although i could stand to get back to working out). My point is, some peoples issues can be completely remedied simply by getting better food in your diet and a good workout routine.
GO GET IT GUYS!! BEAT THIS!
this is a virus, my whole family of 4 has it. nothing you can do but wait it out, it can take a week plus. You may never had symptoms of throwing up or diarrhea, just lots of peeing and stools.
i posted as robbie p 4 months ago, i still have the same off and on issues. its gotten a bit better but overall i still suffer. all started around food poisoning and norovirus. my wife and i cannot shake it. pretty sure my infant has it. we have bouts of yellowish stools. again, its off and on and random. usually a few times a month and lasts a week or two.
"Sadly my mother had that - went to the doctor's and was diagnosed with final stage IV liver cancer and she died 4 weeks later. GET TO THE DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY!!!"
So sorry to hear about your mom!! People that reach out to this site are afraid as it is...and maybe you can expand on your post a little by providing other symptoms your mom may have had besides loss of appetite and change in stool color. There should be other indicators for stage 4 liver cancer (?)...thanks
