sweat, sweat, sweat. All i do is sweat. Good to read these comments as it confirmed my suspicions it was just to body flushing out the weed now that i stopped smoking. Week 2 now and no end in sight with regards to the sweating. The feet and hands is the worst. No withdrawal at all which is good but doing plenty of laundry what with all the smelly socks and t-shirts. Good luck to all.

Yeah dude I've been off and on for years now. I'm 22 male brown hair blue eyes I exercise regularly but I also shmonk weed all the time and every time I've quit and I am currently on day 3 of quitting and all 3 days my hands and feet just sweat like a mofa. I know for a fact you will have no signs of green goddess withdrawals after a month and your brain works like it should again and you don't have to talk to Satan anymore

I have been a very heavy pot smoker for 30 years (normal day up at 6am pipe out 6:15am and put away at 10.30pm) , i have quit again now and it is not easy for me the 1st 4 days are the worst but this is not the first time i quit so i knew what to expect,my longest quit was for 3 years and they were dam good years , 3 years of thinking i wish i'd quit earlier .As with most things time is your best friend just give it a while and you will be fine it helps to keep away from your pot head mates and find something else to do with your mind, there is a lot i could say but if you u tube "George Carlin on drugs" and listen to what he is saying it may just help you keep strong .Good luck people.

I am on my 3rd week of quitting cigarettes and weed, and I have been drinking fresh ginger root tea daily which helps unclog my lungs from the tar and detox my body. I go for a daily cardio run and bike riding and martial arts to sweat out the toxins and this also helps me get through the anxiety cravings. My girlfriend has also been very helpful in understanding my temporary mood swings.

I am glad to see that I am not a mutated human for experiencing this symptom of withdrawal. On the bright side because my hands are so sweaty it acts as a further deterrent from pot. If I tried to pick up bud I would get it soaked. XD good luck everyone on the quest to a healthier life.

I found this post most reassuring, I'm on day 4 of quitting weed after 20 years heavy use, I quit tobacco 8weeks ago and found that much easier. Am having real difficulty controlling my mood, I have gone from easy going to irrational and pugnacious, I hope this passes soon.

I am hypogycemic, and I have horrible night sweats when I quit. I will soak through several pairs of pajamas a night for several nights, along with a nervous sweat sometimes in the day. Not your usual sweat, but the smelly kind. The hypoglycemia is usually compounded by the fact that I lose my appetite, or feel down right sick to my stomach once I quit. That is often helped by tapering, and not just cutting myself off all at once. However, tapering does little good for the sweats. Few of my friends have that issue, but I'm sensitive to medications (otc meds like benadryl and decongestants have crappy side effects like nausea, moodiness, shakiness, etc.), and hormones have always caused me problems. So, I'm not really surprised detox is unpleasnt in my case as well.I am currently trying Black Cohash, which is known to ease severe night sweats in women going through menapause, as well as Detox Sp 25 blend to try to purge my body of the THC faster. I'm hoping this helps at least ease the symptoms, because waking up soaked and frozen 3 times a night for a week is for the birds.

Ive been a heavy pot smoker since my early 20's. I'm 25 now and been trying to quit several times. First it starts with sweating and unable to sleep for days. I know the sweating will stop approx 2 weeks in from earlier quitting but i'm afraid the headaches, restlessness and anger issues stays. My best was to quit for 6 weeks I remember I felt so restless all the time. Wish there was an easier way to get rid of these symptoms or to cope with them. I'm at day 5 now since I last smoked but I can't seem to think of anything else to do it drives me mad!

Lol you are so right! I've been smoking a £25 bag of grass each day for f**k knows how long. Stopped 5 days now and I'm sitting at 3.30am with insomnia and crazy sweats as well as bad mood swings. I actually stopped a few months ago when I got with a girl I was so into and it just made for the most screwed up relationship you have ever seen due to all the after effects. I then started up again when we broke up and now I'm doing it so that I can get back to normality before I look for a relationship again.

Hey everyone, its so nice to see that more people have the same body and mind feelings after quitting weed. Im 34 now. Have been a very heavy smoker for the past 7 years. And everytime I tried to quit and felt the withdrawal symtoms I smoked again to ease these. This is my 3rd day off weed. Many people say to keep away from your smoking friends... I live in Amsterdam... Going to work at 7 in the morning, lunch, coming out, going to a bar... Always surrounded by weed. But this time I have calculated how much I have spend in these years.... a car!! (and noct a cheap one) This time I want to manage, but the sweat..... I started working out as THC is stored in Fat, I am going to the sauna to try to sweat it out... but it wont stop. I know 2-3 weeks of feeling bad is nothing compared to 7 years of smoke... but the sweat...
